I saw Madison play earlier in the regional tourney when they beat Argyle. It was a heck of a game. The thing that impressed me about Madison was they just found a way to win. They shot lights out from outside when they needed it and scored before the end of each half. I would not bet against them. Argyle had just beaten Kimball--who is playing in the 4A final and Madison still matched them step for step just out touching them at the buzzer. All I know is that winners win and I think they will.

Does anyone know what time the rematch between EC and Guyer will be played?

They Guyer team is really enjoying the tourney. Everyone has been fantastic. And even though they have only one one game at least it's been competitive. This is only the third year for BBall at our new school and the second year for our coach. I'm sure we'll be back next year with a more experieced team. We only have 3 seniors with us and one plays very little. The guys have won 7 games this year and that is more than any year in school history. We're getting better and better each week and hope to sneak into the playoffs back home.

I heard Guyer was up 12 in the first half and ran out of gas down the stretch and Chapel Hill won by about 10. Guyer's 6.9 backup post was hurt during te game too.

The Beaumont Paper reported the final score EC/Guyer was EC - 46 Guyer - 36

Guyer is tall but young. The 6.9 player is just a soph and the starting post is a jr. They left a 6.7 jr and 6.6 soph at home for a JV tourney along with a top point guard. does anyoe have the box score from the first Guyer game?
