1. Not sure but I think Whathappened has himself starting at third base this year.  Just a guess! ;D
 2. 2 things id like to point out now..... the BH band chants the hill is for real to throw it in eeryones face after every game.... since i come to this site often i knew what they meant and found this hillarious and want to hear it again  ;D, 2 all teh png fans r calling it a blowout, when all teh bh fans are calling a close game, this tells me that as bh fans we have too little faith in our team, im calling it bh 36 png 14 if we dont run too much time aff the clock before we can get there  ;D
 3.
It's been awhile swamp, you could be right. Didn't Jimmy S. miss the xp?
I think you are right.  I was a 6 or 7 year old boy boy on the sideline for that one.  Jimmy Smith was my hero at the time.  what an athelete!!
 4. How did they do it before there was 3 High Schools?  Mabe you said and I just didn't see it.
 5.
The whole team along with the coaches, stayed inside their little tunnel until after the national anthem was played, NO CLASS!!!
Staying inside and missing the moment of silence for Reggie was not intentional I assure you.  Coach Gage and the rest of Barbers Hill have much more respect for others than that.  As for stayiing in the Tunnel until after the National Anthem was complete actually shows "VERY MUCH CLASS".  It had already started and out of respect for flag and country I am sure the team did not want to come running out onto the field while it was being played.  Should they have done otherwise?  That would be very disrespectful IMHO.
 6. In 76,77 and 78 you might have wanted to schedule us for your Homecoming, but if you played in the game that night you weren't able to dance much after.  We may have lost but you remember we were there!
 7.
Just back from the game. Not much to say here they scored a lot and we scored a little ;D Not a lot of positives to pull from this game BH has a long way to go, but they will get there!!! See what we can do against Lumberton next week. Hope #11 for BH is ok he went down during the opening kickoff and they splinted his leg. I hope its not a knee injury goodluck to him as well.
Guess I gotta disagree with ya about the positives from this game.  Yes the offense needs a lot of work and the defense needs a lot as well.  The score doesn't reflect the "POSITIVES" I saw during this game.  What I saw was every kid playing their tales off until the last second ticked off the clock.  Not one got down or looked to have given up.  I saw coaches, coaching on the sidline without berating anyone.  Only "POSITIVE", instruction and encouragement.  I know that didn't translate into a "W" on Friday but I believe it will go a long way during the rest of the season.  We will get better as the year goes along.
 8. I use to live in Beaumont but have been gone for a while.  What did this fellow do that was so good he would get the facility named after him??  Not tryin to open new wounds, just don't know.
 9.

The QB spot is up for grabs, I hear there there is a senior to be and two juniors  to be that are strong contendors. I am sure the younger kid will get a fare shot but the new style offense does not fit him as well as the others.
Contenders are Corbin Abshire, Cody Thompson, Tyler Nukem(spelling probably not right), Andrew McMillan, and Preston Townly.
I see the Townly kid out there every afternoon with his dad.  He looks pretty solid as far as passing is concerned.  He might be the go to guy on Varsity this year.  I don't think you can count him out just because he is a Sophomore.  If he's as good under pressure as I've seen him out there practicing, I don't see why he wouldn't be given the shot.  Newcomb can also pass the ball well, but he also showed us last year that he is as good or better on the running plays, he is a very strong kid and can break through tackles amazingly well.    Thompson is another one who can pass the ball really well, is he a good runner?  Speaking of running, what times do these guys post in the 40yd dash?
I don't think any spot is filled right now and probably won't be until the week of the first game.  At least I would hope not.  I believe these new coach's will do a good job of evaluating the talent we have and get them in the right spots.  I wouldn't count anyone out.
 10. Little Joe was the best I ever saw in person.  Didn't Charlton Pollard have a great RB that went to the Detroit Lions.  I know that was long ago.  I saw Steve Wooster in person when I was 6 and a ball boy on the sidelines for West Orange.  He seemed like a giant.  He was just straight up power.  I believe that year BC  beat West Orange 66-0 so don't believe they didn't run the score up on anyone.
 11. No predictions on how well we will do this year.  You never know about how kids respond to a new offensive system.  We are hoping for a rapid learning curve.  The good news is that we will be returning a lot of young players on deffense that have a lot of game experiance.  We should be able to hold our own there if we can get some help on the line and replace 2 Seniors from the secondary.

Crosby - Returning QB, but will need some help. 2. Baytown Lee - Underestimating the Ganders will be a big mistake! 3. Dayton - Limps into district after a brutal pre district! 4. BH - New Coach, New Sytem will be clicking by district! if not GCM 4. GCM - 3 rd year and they have to rebuild no more returning the whole team.
If Dayton comes out of pre-district unscaved (more than likely will ) then look out ! If they do get a little banged up then ... well thats why they schedule teams like BH early in the season. ;)
You better schedule someone a little easier this year then because your 3 point victory wasn't to impressive ;D
You must have been at the concession stand putting your Grey Poupon on your hot dog during the whole 3rd quarter (the one that Dayton blasted the Eagles 21 to 0)   ;D It will be interesting to see how many sophomores from both teams end up on varsity. Lots of talent at both Dayton and Barbers Hill in that grade level (current freshmen). Any idea from BH fans, does the freshmen QB have a chance to be the starter for Varsity next year? The kid has a gun and is a great all around athlete.
Word is he might be moving.  Rumor has it there's a forsale sign in the yard.  Guess he don't like the wing "T".  Who ever gets him will have a pretty good QB.  If the Rumors are true.
