  1. How about the 10-7 game WOS won versus LaMarque in 2000 in the Dome? Hope's shoulder was messed up so bad he could barely lift it. Caught the ball on a 4th Down (I think) that was over his head and ran down the sideline with less than a minute to go. Finally some revenge on LaMarque. Also the Jasper vs WOS game in 1990. I was 7 and still remember. WOS won 7-6 and I think (help me here) there was a stop at the goal line that sealed the deal.
  2. Greg is no player, he quit because he was no longer starting....talked to him bout that in lunch.....howard is ok, too small for his head. hunter has an arm and an attitude, he changes plays; awesome. soccer players are WEAK ya we lose our games but we work in the off season and maybe you cant tell but we give it our all. I wouldn't talk about your soccer team. They might win a few more than your football team.
  3. I was thinking the same thing. Seems like this is turning into the Kirbyville message board.
  4. Works better in baseball because of the ump behind the plate is on his knees. I don't care where I am, or how old I may be I still laugh everytime I hear this.
  5. I know Griff wouldn't let you play soccer and baseball.
  6. "29 consecutive district game wins" KFDM says its 26. Or is 26 3A? Did I just answer my own question?
  7. I wouldn't call this a rivalry game. We have never lost to BC. That being said... WOS 41 BC 0
  8. I'm having to listen to the Orangefield game to hear the updates on our game.
  9. I guess the cell phone money pays for the 5 or 6 charter buses that just left LCM.
  10. I wonder how many fans will be traveling for this game.
  11. Will there be Freshman and JV games, if so are they at LCM?
  12. Isn't there a whole section devoted to baseball? ;D
  13. Ronnie Lott got the tip of his pinkie amputated, but this guy is playing D2 ball. Retarded
  14. Voted and also posted it on www.hornfans.com
  15. This is a whole different topic, but politics are in play at every level starting with little league. I would say less with WOS football but its always there. There is no getting around it.
  16. I think this is the best answer so far. It all starts in Middle School or even before. You don't just show up in high school as a football player. At WOS when I was there, you didn't see anyone on the team that wasn't there in 7th and 8th grade. You buy into the program when you are young. You want to be the one out there on Friday night when you grow up. You need good athletes, but these good athletes have been in the program for years. This might be out of left field, as Coach Comeaux said about the home life and hearing all the positive or negative from parents, if you took WOS' coaching staff and moved them to LCM you would see a huge turnaround in a few years. You have everyone talking about how bad things are there. If you bring in proven winners and someone these kids hold in a high regard you would see results.
