  1. Well I am going to bed....my last thought for the day....its gonna be a great game with two great teams with each having a good chance of winning....no matter hwat the outcome both teams should be proud of their accomplishments..... That being said my prediction of Lumberton 35 to LaMarque 31 stands....good night
  2. Quote from that site above: mackula02 Junior Member " LaMarque will have to keep a cool head. I'm pretty sure the players will be called outside their names a few times. I reside in Beaumont but I am from LaMarque. Lumberton is being considered the New Vidor. " I guess they get CNN in Houston....lol....gotta love it
  3. hey hey this guy has some jokes....its gonna be embarrassing when you have to come here and say Lumberton did a good job in that second playoff game against a team that as well has been in two playoff games....unless you know you have those thirty year old players I talked about up there.....Did LaMarque even graduate anyone last year or did they all fail....I mean if its the same team....
  4. Oh come on....its original to Lumberton....let us have the fun....kinda like those car salesman....Its new to you!!!!
  5. And that rosters shows what other than you have some returning players...many of whom probably weren't starters last year....I guess you didn't get the point of that post....the past matters nothing....that was the point....I thought it was plain and simple....maybe I used to many words....probably doing that again....show me last years roster compared to this one you just have shown and it seems logical to me that someone that played football last year graduated....if you only had one graduate....you have a different team.... Would you agree that if you have one player injured that it would make you a different team.....I bet the Eagles think that when they go against the Pats without McNabb(most likely)....what if one (or more) graduated....IT IS A DIFFERENT TEAM....did they teach comparison at Lamarque?
  6. "As soon as the woman flagged down police, they rushed to the store and searched the area." Ummm to flag down police they would have to be pretty daggum close....lol now we need to find that picture of the like 20 cop cars outside of a dunkin doughnuts to put on a pole next to the L-Train entrance signs at the game just to let people know we can tailgate without fear of oppression from the police
  7. Thats my bad.....please accept my most sincere apologies....I gradiated third grade from the Bridge City....I'm just a a dumb___....you can fill in the blank there....I was just pulling a number out of it....and I live in Beaumont sooooo yea.....24000 + 1.....
  8. ummmm its gonna be flippin cold...I know I will be shaking in my boots so maybe Lamarque won't be embarrassed when they do when the L-Train rolls through
  9. hmmm...wasn't where I thought it was...maybe I saw it on one of those stupid criminals shows....
  10. Ok I am totally gonna find you the news article I read a month or two back.....it was about a doughnut shop being robbed with a few cop cars sitting outside....I am going to find it.....brb with it lol...
  11. Come on bro...I was gonna say that but figured some cops may be on here and be on the look out for a fat redhead to harass....although I do like donoughts...although I apparently don't know how to spell them....proabbly cuz my eyes are focused on them rather than the sign that spells the name out.....
  12. All the cougar people keep saying they have been here for the last 15 or whatever years....how in the world did UIL let the same players play now that they are over thirty and playing for 15+ years??? Oh right its a different team....different players....different year.....but yea yall are still the same team....oh wait no your not.... The past doesn't mean a thing. Your players who have graduated the last 15 some odd years have been here before....some to the state championship.....I bet most of your players are in the same boat as Lumberton with this being the first playoffs they have actually been starters in....experience matters nothing on a team that literally changes most of its players year to year....do you think the patriots would be where they are if Brady and Moss and everyone else only started a few years before moving on?...maybe the Texans would be better than they are....but thats another forum altogether.....I digress All I am saying is your players have little to no more experience than these Lumberton players....the difference I see is that Lumberton has 8000+ fans behind them that are very vocal and loud.....along with players who probably haven't realized the implications of these games they are playing....and who athletically are as near to evenly matched position to position and potentially better in some positions....therefore it will be a close game if both teams play as they have and will be decided by who has the most determination not to make mistakes....not by what the last few years teams have done.....when you return a complete team of lower classmen after a state championship then I am fine with talking experience....until then you are just another group of players who are as unexperienced in this situation as any
  13. I'm gonna bring my checkbook see if I can pay the ticket on the spot to keep tailgating lol....I once saw about 20 cops try to stop a goalpost going down by about 8000 crazy McNeese fans a few years back....they eventually gave up after they remembered the entire police staff couldn't even handle it....wait maybe if we feed the cops before hand....hmmm we could drop off some food at the station on the way.....that would keep em out of our hair.....
  14. Nah...whats the fun in that... jp...I would assume that they would have a problem on a school day but wouldn't see where it would be an issue during the holiday. If they do I am sure the people organizing this can come up with a plan. Coaches probably would have already got the word out if they knew of a problem considering that from what I hear we could see most of Lumberton there....we shall see....
  15. There is a side of the road huh???? Theres always a place to tailgate
  16. Hey Big House...I'm getting ready to fire up the smoker...went and got a lil more brisket....throw the turkeys and hams on in the morning....keep it smoking till the night and start getting those brisket going to feed all those L-train supporters...I'm standing by my 35-31 Lumberton taking the W home prediction....You figure out if we needs some sounds for the party? Have a happy thanksgiving all.... - Jason "Big Red" McDonald
