Diboll is not that good. They gave up 60+ to Carthage, 54 to Gilmer, 48 or so to Coldspring. I know Carthage and Gilmer are good, but that is no defense. Diboll had opportunities to do things and killed themselves with turnovers. It is easy to score 54 when you are given a short field 4 or 5 times. Gilmer is a good team, don't get me wrong, but they are not unbeatable. You just have to sustain drives and not have turnovers to keep the ball away from them. For the record Diboll is a very solid team and they hung with some great competition all year long. They have some issues on the D, but they only lost to #1 Kirbyville by 6, and Carthage and Gilmer, well the winner between those two is likely on their way to a state tile. Bottom line Diboll has a heck of a good offense and they were shutdown. NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND. I KNOW WE HAVE A DATE SET WITH CALDWELL THIS UPCOMING WEEK, BUT IF WE GET PAST THEM, AND YOU GUYS GETS PASSED MEXIA, LOOKOUT FOR THIS SHOWDOWN IN 3A. HOW DOES WOS LOOK THIS YEAR WITH COACH OREBO BACK ON THE SIDELINES?

IN THE JRS! IT WILL BE THE WO-S WHITE TEAM. MAN THEY HAD THE INJURY BUG ALL THIS SEASON. ONE OF THERE BEST PLAYERS GOT INJURED IN THE SECOND WEEK PLUS A FEW OF THERE SKILLED PLAYERS. ALMOST EVERY KID ON THERE TEAM HAVE STEP UP. SINCE ALL THE KIDS THAT WAS INJURED HAS COME BACK THIS TEAM HAS BEEN CLICKING. PLUS THEY HAVE PLAYED THE TOUGHEST TEAMS IN THERE DIVISION THIS YEAR. SO DON'T BE SUPRISE IF THEY WIN THE JR.S SUPERBOWL THIS YEAR. TO ADD TO THIS THEY ARE THE SMALLER OF THE TWO JUNIOR TEAMS FROM WOS, BUT MOST OF THESE KIDS AND COACHES ON THIS TEAM WON THE SUPERBOWL LAST YEAR IN PEEWEE BALL.

HEY HILLGUY TO ADD OR ANSWER YOUR COMMENT ABOUT 4A/5A SCHOOLS ON THE SCHEDULE; WE SCHEDULED TWO QUALITY 3A PROGRAMS,THAT WE DON'T GET TO PLAY, TO GET OUR SEASON STARTED. THESE GAMES WOULD AND SHOULD'VE HAD US READY FOR WHEN THE COLLEGE PARK, RANKED IN TOP 10 IN 5A, ROLLS INTO TOWN NEXT TUESDAY 11/18/08. THIS WILL PROBABLY HAVE US OFF TO A SLOW START, WHICH WE CAN'T AFFORD AGAINST A TEAM OF THIS CALIBER ON NEXT TUESDAY.

Congrats to the lady longhorns on winning your volleyball game against orangefield this past tuesday. But if i'm not mistaken, by this being a 3a ballclub, they may have to cancel their game with my lady jags this friday r/t most if not all their varsity players, for the basketball team, playing v ball. hate to sound selfish, but this will be our second game that we have missed in a row, but i know we wouldn't be getting much work playing against other teams jv squads.Just writing to see if anyone has heard anything as of yet. P.S. GOOD LUCK TO THE LADY LONGHORNS THIS WEEK IN THE PLAYOFFS.
