Kevin McDonald of Silsbee. He had a great season. He was Silsbee #2 pitcher and did one heck of job on the mound - went 5-0 in district. He also was one of the leaders for Silsbee at bat.

Rocky Calhoun of Silsbee. Made some great catches this year. Also, has to be mentioned, got his nose broken in the final game with Jasper in early part of the game, but came back to complete the game with his team. Great Athlete!!

The last game of the season between Jasper and Silsbee. The atmosphere was great with lots of people from both Silsbee and Jasper. Then both teams did a heck of a job with the game. It was better than any playoff game. Congrats to both teams for a great season.

Joel Schooling of Silsbee. You never see Joel get upset, just goes out to the mound and gets the job done. Has done a great job in helping Silsbee have a stellar season. Some of Joel's stats: He is 11-4 for the season. He pitched two complete games in the playoff series against Barbers Hill. In Game 1 - 7 IP; Allowed 7 hits; 9 K's; 1 BB - Got the win. In Game 3 - 6 IP; Allowed 4 hits; 7 K's; 0 BB - Got the loss.

Colby Hargrave of Silsbee. Good kid and wonderful team leader. Excells academically also.

Thanks jdawg03 - these Silsbee kids have really come together this year and fought hard to get this title. Kevin pitched his heart out Friday night and totally deserves this recognition. Unfortunately, the Silsbee Tigers do not get much recognition and they deserve it. They have come together as a team and done very well.

CONGRATULATIONS SILSBEE TIGERS!!! Awesome game tonight between two really good teams. Hats off to Jasper - tonight was a really great game to watch.
