Why should a receiver who is anything less than spectacular get it? Cardenas is good but if you take him away from Nederland it doesn't change much imo. I think the kid from Livingston (Harris) or Hanna from Lumberton gets MVP.

I don't see where Hughes is even in the same league as the kid from Ozen.

I thought vicious hits were what players were supposed to do? That have nothing to do with the play that is 10 or 15 yards ahead of them, no thats not supposed to happen and believe me ive done plenty of them 10-11 years ago,vicious hits that is Maybe it's not suspposed to happen...but u know what...it does! If your running to the ball and I can lean on you and knock your stuff in the dirt b4 the whistle blows...well just keep your head on a swivel! No one has a problem with big hit when it's your team doing the hitting...when you're on the other side...your too busy yelling for the flag instead of giving the famous..."OOOOOOHHHHH!!!!" I dont have a problem at all with hits but being hit after the play has already passed you by THAT i have a problem with, and weve yanked kids from the game on our STJFL team for doing that Well if the stjfl is yanking kids for that then the local H.S. coaches should deffinately take note...yeah right

My understanding is..... In the eyes of the UIL, the "official" title will be District CO-Champions with Livingston BUT In the eyes of football fans everywhere, it is understood Lumberton is the sole district champ since its owns the head to head with Livingston. UIL only uses head to head match ups for playoff tie breakers and playoff seedings. My eyes dont see it this way but whatever floats your boat.
