The shoulders of there 6'6 Qb
Is this a joke?  No way they beat Coldsprings.  They may sneak into the playoffs behind Coldsprings and Huffman. Then, I believe, they get a first round match up with WOS.  Not winning that one either.  Have a good day. ;)
smh all of yall are negative. Let's just see how the season goes. I also heard that the Soph. QB Standish is way better than Fitz FYI. I can't stand Huffman fans at all. Yall have no class what so ever

 3.
Sadler is an outstanding coach. He could have got our whole team to run thru a brick wall if he wanted to. (well, into it at least.) we all looked up to him.
ain't that the truth... I see C.E. King competing for the districts title..
 4. My prediction of Hardin in the next 3 years 2012 1-9 2013 0-10 2014 0-10 Resigns after the season of 2014 Hardin looking stupid wish they wouldn't run Haynes outta town..
 5.
Word is Sadler is looking to Coach Football again, personally I believe he should have got the AD job from the start! He, like Coach Stewart, is about work ethnic and you earned his respect by busting your butt and getting the job done. A lot of the mommy's and daddy's wouldn't like him but he would fix a lot of the kids attitudes and thats the type of coach that liberty needs! If something happens to Deel I would like to see him come back to Liberty! Or better yet bring back Stewart and give him a raise 😊
I wish Josh Sadler would take over Liberty, and I can't believe Hardin didn't hire him. Pretty strange how a coach with a losing record gets the Job over there at Hardin. Coach Sadler was my position coach and Offensive coordinator. First year he was the OC we won District in 2004 and lost to the eventually state runner up Jasper.. The man showed me work ethic and character.. Idk where I would be without his mentoring. I feel like the Liberty I.S.D. staff is very stupid and stuck in there old ways.. It's 2012 not 1990
 6. Congrads to Katie Sanders was a excellent player... I seen her play in the Regional Quarter Finals in 2004
 7.
Bua left for John Curtis.  Much higher profile private school in Louisiana.  Bua left for SEC exposure and it worked.  Played at Arkansas.
my mistake your right man... Why do all the good athletes leave Liberty? Fitz in my opionion has great potential to be a great college football athlete, maybe even do well in the professional ranks.
 8. This is a very much similar thing in 1997 when Tony Bua left Liberty, and went to the I believe the same school Fitz going go. Dang Liberty gotta change it up.. Listen to your athletes
I believe he has one year left in his contract. Rumor around town is if he performs well this season then it will be renewed. However, this is small town talk so I would not place to much credit on this. With that being said, I fully support Coach Deel and think he is a good coach and a great guy who really cares for the players.
Liberty is loaded and stacked this year, The expectations are real high this season. It's been a while since Liberty had a highly anticipated season. I think Liberty will win District go deep into the playoffs, after that Deel will get a bonus and contract extended for 6 years watch and see.. quote me please >:( >:( >:(
How is this different than every year? Too bad you still have Huffman and CS whom you cannot beat regardless of who you bring back.
watch and see you Sorry Huffman folks..

Coach Slack was a hometown man and it did not take long for all yall to jump off. Good luck with your new coach and rember dont be the first one to jump off if it does not go your way,
Brother I am a Bobcat, born and raised. I love Hull-Daisetta, and have always stood by my team even when we lose. I am sorry people like you don't understand that. H-D is a special place to play, places like WOS, Newton, and LaMarque understand. Also, I have always backed up Coach Slack, never did I do anything more than praise him and his staff, Joe Allen is a friend of mine. I have never jumped off the Mighty Hull-Daisetta Bobcat Bandwagon!! So know your roll and shut your mouth! If you smell what the cats... are cooking!!
lmao
 13.
Hardin is definintly going in the right direction with this hire.  Fortune has never been afraid to step up to the challenge of taking over a "weaker" program.  I'm sure he is more motivated than ever to prove to people it aint the size of the dawg in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dawg.
wow lmao.. Fortune  = Horrible.. look at the results when he was at Tarkington.. only good win he had was in 2002 when they beat Coldspring 7-6 lmao.. yall people kill me.. Wonder why Josh Sadler Head Baseball Coach of C.E. King didn't get the job... hmmm sounds like some good ole boy, brother in law type of stuff. Wish Liberty County would change.
 14. Fitzwater will have a banner season in 2012. I agree he doesn't have all the greatest athletic ability in the world, but his stats and numbers don't lie. He also has potential to be a great college player also. I say Fitz will be the the District's MVP, All-Region, and All-State Selection..
 15.

If you combine liberty, hardin, and hd...  they still wouldn't make the playoffs in hardin's district.
This past year Liberty would have won that district. Next year we play Newton and Buna, or one or the other or both IDK. and if we get things settled on the o-line you'll see how good Hardin's district compares to Liberty, we also destroyed Hardin 49-0 this past season, and they weren't even the last place team in their district, if we combined with them and HD, we'd walk through distict, if we entered their district without the two schools, we'd walk through district.
Liberty first four non-district opponents are Jasper Newton Buna Hamshire-Fannett I believe...
 16.
OK Huffman fans - Huffman at this time and for the last few years has been better than Liberty - but just like you stated about Liberty why don't you get past the 2nd round of the playoffs before you start pounding you chest about how good you are.  Huffman benefits from the same issues that Liberty does - they play in a weak district  and therefore make the playoffs every year and are guaranteed 4 - 5 wins by the benefit of being in 22AAA.  Other than Coldsprings really the next level of this district is not that strong and fairly equal over the years and gloating about being the 2nd or 3rd best team in 22AAA is not stating much.  I personally like Huffman and always have as I think that their program is generally run with class and does the best with the talent that they have - but to make such comments about any other program that your program is not that much better than (over the long run) is kinda childish.  I do agree also that enrollment while a factor is not always an issue and as the Huffman fans stated Coldsprings is the smallest enrollment in the district and has been always been one of  the better teams in the distrtict and area for that matter.
So true

We have a good number of Devers kids.
how many ATHLETES do yall get?
Devers doesn't have many athletes. Most go to HD, some come to Liberty, never enough to actually impact us, well not on the field at least, Trent, Tristan, and Trey Riley and Tevin Mouton were all very good basketball players from Devers, Trent, Tevin and Tristan started on Liberty's varsity for one or two years, and their are girl athletes from Devers who play for Liberty also, only one that I can think of, last season all district point guard, and one of the fastest girls on the track team, Shafaa Guillory, and then in 09 when Liberty was actually up on HJ in basketball in the first round at halftime that team was led by a guy from Devers names Steven Guillory who was one of the best basketball players to ever come through Liberty.
Alicia Mallet from Devers to graduate of Liberty in 2007. Started all four years in Volleyball and Basketball also was All-District 7 or 8 times combined from the two sports. Participated in Track and Field as well for her Senior Year and made a big impact. Anchoring all three relays to Regionals.
 18. Should Liberty, Hardin, and Hull-Dasietta Consolidate High Schools?
 19. This post got off topic, but I bet Liberty will keep Shane Deel below or above .500, Playoffs or not, District Championship or not either. The Community of Liberty really doesn't like change, but we need to change the kids attitudes as winners and raise the bar. Instead of settling for the playoffs  :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

Liberty is still Liberty.
@89Falcon what is that suppose to mean? Huffman only beat us twice out of proably 20 times in school history. Huffman wasn't even all that good last year. From what I'm hearing we changed up or defense against yall last year, and was  trying to run our best player at Tailback instead of the slot receiver. So coaching has alot to do wtih the panthers being 9-1 last year instead of 7-3
Ok first off we beat yall 3 times all in the last 4 years 8). This isnt the same Huffman it was 10 years ago. Huffman is miles ahead if liberty right now. You can blame your losses on coaching all you want, but you could've had Vince Lombardi as your coach last year and Huffman still would've beat you, because Huffman is the overall better team with bettet players. Oh and I consider 9-3 with a trip to the second round of the playoffs a pretty decent year. When was the last time liberty won a playoff game?
falconfantic go jump into Lake Houston. If we had Vince Lombardi we would of beaten yall 35-0. Huffman really isn't all that special, and the 3 times yall beat us was a fluke lmao.. Huffman Hargrave Falcons
Just face it Huffman is ten times better than liberty right now, and I wouldn't call 3 blowout wins in 4 years a fluke 8). I hope your ready for another year of watching the real football teams in this district(Coldspring, Huffman, and Cleveland) compete in the playoffs whlie liberty sits at home and comes up with a thousand excuses for why they got beat.
I guess we will see brother, I predict Liberty to beat Huffman by a Touchdown :o :o :o :o
