Last Friday night was a great building block for WB. The band was into it, the cheerleaders were into it, the Stars were into it, the dads, moms, gmas, and gpas were into it, the guy selling hot dogs was into it, the annoucer was into it, and oh yes the coaches and players were into it. Keep that spirit up and this team will continue to feed off of it. Pretty soon this team will be known by more than just the best team in SE TX. They will be the best team in the state of Texas!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both defenses came to play!!!!!! Smash mouth football like the game is suppose to be played. Great ball game. If it's true that defense win championships, these two teams should do well in the playoffs

I can't stand it anymore either. I'm heading there now. Let's see which "D" shows up Wildcats or Bruins.

You sound like a coach who tries to downplay your team in the media to catch a team sleeping. Let's face it, Humble is undefeated in district. This should be a great game. WB better come ready to play and take care of business. Take care of the ball and cut down on penalties. Should be some hard hitting action for those going to the game.

The question is "Which GOOD team............If you finish 4th are you really a good team?

They'll be plenty of time to debate the Katy's and Cinco Ranch's of the state. I know where the thought is originating from though. It comes from... how good is WB? Right now I hope WB is focusing on Humble and getting better each week.

Big Game....District Championship on the line...Senior night.....Stands should be packed.

There's only one team and one team only that can stop WB this season and that's WB. They have beat people up this year with their ablility. They will continue to do so into the playoffs. Still need to correct mistakes and I think they will. I truly believe theygo all the way and win State. Someone keep this quote handy for me.

T minus 2 hours and change until kickoff...........about 5 hours until the excuses start flying.

PAM may not be so fond of Bear fur after they've been wearing it on their back all night tonight. It will get heavy and hot and you'll be glad when the Big Bad Bears finally go back to their den.

Typical of patitan talking about others joining the bandwagon then he wants to sit on the winning side. If he had any juevos, he'd sit where he belongs with PAM.

I must weigh in on the game last night. Ugly. Ugly. The team came out flat and you could see it when they run on to the field. 1. 5 turnovers. QB and RB each had 2 fumbles. QB had 1 int. Can't do this against the good teams. 2. Too many penalties. 3. Broken assignments in the secondary. 4. All the above looked like an opening game where you're ironing out probs. Was it lack or focus(playing 0 and 6 team) or lack of discipline? 5. With the score 40 something to 21 with 4 minutes and change left, why are we going for two points and running #33? With 25 out for the year, give 26 a chance to gain some confidence or give the kicker another kick for his confidence. 6. Mistakes were made offensively and defensively not just in the secondary. Keep in mind, Sterling only scored 2 TD's on the D. The other was given up on a fumble recovery by the O. If the pass D was as bad as some believe, then Sterling would have scored in the second half. Work does need to be done to stop giving up the big play. 7. Get # 26 in the game more before we get to the playoffs. 8. I almost forgot. Receivers must catch balls that hit them in the hands. 9. This team is capable of beating anyone in the state. Last night showed that they can also be beaten by anyone if they don't show up to play. 10. Stupidest play call of the year so far is the Sterling coach going for the onsides just before half time with the lead and the momentum. 11. WB will be alright. I think they played down to their competition. This week is a rivlary game and they should get up for it. The next 2 are pay back games.
