jacob has had several d-1 colleges looking at him ,several was at the game friday night. i talked with greg davis jr. ( tulane running back coach )for about 15 minutes, and if everything goes right with jacobs testing ,his tests, i was basically told they would try & sign him. howden,hanna,gilliam,mark m & anthony are all prospects of tulane. when jacob ran his final td, two of the scouts gave a fisted punch in the air ,smiling then went back to la. to eat some craw fish ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

i have to say that nobody has rivaled our crowd until tonight, not even png, but ned always shows up. probably 5 thousand fans each side. hard fought game , one of the better teams we have faced. about 400 fans shows up at the school with lights flashing,horns blarring, then about12 emergency vehicles, police ,ems, firetrucks with horns blarring to welcome these young men home after an hard fought game. district champs aint that bad for a small school ( about 1020 kids) in hardin county. now about the one lhs poster complaining about fan support, we probably ave. 5 thousand fans at home & away the past 3 games, with plenty of hollering going on,so rest that thought please. anyway congrats to big ned. playoffs await, so regardless of your teams issues, back them young men, wich i know u will, & make a nice run in the playoffs. really, good luck to them dawgs,man another year in the playoffs, thats awesome. to those raiders,the home of the l-train, keep it going guys, we are so proud of these young men. to our coaches,a very fine job men, well done. things have changed rapidly, u guys are a big part of the reason why, the least i can do is back u up , & show my support after every game . thanks love them raiders. ps looks like anthony will go ahead & have knee fixed (hell be back ) ;D ;D

i watched the ozen -png game the other night & kept stats on 2 players. one of these young men was j. isadore. he had 4 solo tackles,5 assisted tackles, one fumble caused, & a two point conversion . one of solo tackles was for a loss. on goal line defense he did not get too much involved in stopping any penetration, but was blocked fairly easy at times. several runs on outside went pass him with no chance of him making a stop, as angles or his speed was a factor. a pretty solid player & a good sport, but not the defensive player of district. good luck to "is" at tcu. after tonight, hanna has to be the mvp,hes tha man, period ;D

im thinking that westbrook can win this one, isnt this the reason our boys play the game. i watched the brook several times last season,including the playoffs, and i can say that with a little more fan base would help. fans make a big difference, especially on away games. put about 4 thousand fans in the stands & back this team,show them u have their backs, lets go. now reallity is north shore is tough,have the athletes,but look what happend last year in all class schools, its why u play the game. i dont think being a reallist,biased,optimist,ect from the fans will get it done ,but those young men probably think they can win, im hoping from lumberton this group of young men pulls one out go bruins :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

first of all, the u did not say png players are cheap shots,dirty players, but i do know for a fact that while ac was engaged with 2 other png players,that a third,,wont mention his #, hit anthony directly on his rt knee. this player is as big as ac and could have drilled him directley in his mid section but decided to drive low,fact. as for as playing football & not knowing what its all about, westend i have a 10 inch scare from acl,mcl,chip bone & torn carltledge in my rt. knee ,injury i suffrered my senior yr.8 days in hospital & 12 weeks in a cast was not a pleasant thing to go thru. it was a clean shot that i took head up with defense. now ,if i was going to tackle my nephew i would go low at almost every encounter, but this thred was meant to say, when a player is engaged its legal to go low, but not to dang ethical.as for as calling someone a moron png poster u can piss off. nobody is whinning about png dirty ethics just didnt have to take out his knee,if any has access, just veiw the footage of this particular play. the dr. from sidelines (png) told coaches ac leg felt ok, thats why he went back out. the second shot he took did not damage him, he told me this while leaving the dr. (mri) office. i was also told by a coach that one of the png players mom was looking for ac to get her son to apologize for taking a cheap shot mat anthony, so if any doesnt believe what i have posted, who gives a. as for as anthony curtis (ac) beard ,dr said he could play with a brace & that he could not damage knee any more,the damage is done. he will try to practice next week & go if possible,maybe playoffs, then will come the surgery he needs. dr said his knee will be as strong or stronger when he gets thru. rehab will be 6 to 8 months for total recovery

look guys,topic is lum vs ozen ,not qb topic. but since it has come up ??? ??? ???. against vidor you had 2, different raider teams show up. i thought coach should have called running plays before half when it was second & 2 at vidors 15 yd line & their was a few other calls that were a little off, but, what about all the right calls,all the good coaching across the board the last three years, with that said, coaches have to make decisions that they think is best for the team first then the players second. i for one would not to have to make some descions that coach makes, dont put me in that position. shake alvins hand after the game, he shakes like crazy with all that adrenline going,look at the other coaches, they r exausted. good coaching is what we have,period. like it or not,these coaches r doing a fine job. as for as qb goes, kendall is a strong physical fixture on defense,plain & simple. he & ryan hughes or equally gifted at this point at the qb position, so why not let ryan grow up with the quality players on offense, it seems to be working out well. if kendall needs to fill shoes at qb, believe me ,hes just as capable, but dont sell the coaches short on this, he is a must on defense,he has proven himself to be a tremedous asset & athlete out there. if nyone is looking to start something up , it is not big house, i know him & he is first class, he just put a question out their. i think all is well in raider nation, just need to keep together, as a nation, appreciate our coaches & players,i do & also appreciate our fan base. congratulate our coaches & players afterevery game win or lose, & we will always be the raider nation( winners ) ;D ;D ;D ;D

one more post before i stop thredding. i defended the raider nation about 3 r 4 weeks ago about our fan support & participation. still love ya. fans werein the thick of things last week, and first half tonight, but i must say, our troops deserve our loudness in the second half. has a great crowd, fan support,ect, but when the l train gets in a bind we all need to pick it up in the stands,luv ya guys & keep the L-train a moving. :)

i went to watch buna & kountze play a couple of weeks ago & watched the kountze head coach hodges question a very poor pass interference call. then after about 2 or 3 minutes the trainer went out to help him off the field, back to the side line. i noticed not much resistance to the trainer & asked a friend,a players parent what tha heck. he informed me that the trainer was also the athletic director ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? :o :o :( ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? this cant be right or normal,is it. ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???. if so,i would hate to see the trainer/ad not take care of the teams physical needs to try and multi-task such other things as showing his authority during a game, to help mr. hodges to the side lines. seems politics or other backwards policies are in effect here. hodges finally gets things going in right direction, seems he should be able to run all athletics like most coaches do. ??? maybe hes not qualified ??? ???

my neph is being a little modest. last night i was there after rivals called, and talked to ac about mesc. stuff. this kid had letters from penn st, mich. st, boston ,kentucky,northwestern, lsu, texas, tx tech, houston, kansas, tulane,osu,fsu,oregon,arizona, tx a&m smu,tcu,virginia, ect. about 50 in all. hes been working hard, so i hope his year round dedication pays off, u never know. im really pround of him. ;D ;D ;D ;D his coaches are always around looking for their players making sure they preparing ac as well as all the other kids from yr to yr. lhs coaches hear it every game about the fine job they r doing

went to watch this game for several reasons; friends,both sides of game,and since lhs was not playing to enjoy the struggle between two teams that are playing well this year. buna played well & seemed to have a slight edge over them lions, but to see another atrocious officiated game by some of the same refs that ive seen in the past, make some of the same ill fated calls just makes me wonder how these same 3 or 4 officials are able to get any jobs,games ,ect. it seemed to me that whenever a kountze play that would result in a score,game changing play or a play that would jepordy or put buna in a bad situation , a late flag would fly through the air, a bad spot of the ball wich would turn the ball over, or as the highlights showed on ch. 6 showed a kountze td, but official said lions 22 stepped out of bounds, wich replay refuted this call,not even close, refs i say let the kids settle the game on the field, & you refs keep your personel opions, feelings, ect out of the equation, & if my observation is wrong ,so be it,i had no vested intrest either way,friends on both sides, but i saw same refs make same poor, faulty, obvious, wrong calls. you guys ( refs ) belong in the peewee league. its just hard to enjoy a game when one team seams to fight both the opponent & refs > > > > > > > > > > > >
