  1. Yes weaker QB play and coaching but not enough to overcome the talent disparity. RJ will shine the next couple of years for sure but that will be due to the lessons he learns tonight and in the playoffs from being constantly pressured and on the run.
  2. PAM by double digits. Based on talent alone PAM should blow the Indians out easily but unfortunately that may not happen due to the sub-par coaching on our end. Kenny's play calling will cost the Titans at some point but it won't happen tonight. Other than the PNG QB I truly believe PAM is better at every other position. Should be a good game and the atmosphere will be much more intense than it was against Nederland. I expect Hines to have a solid showing tonight and I really want to see PNG attack Vincent so that he can showcase exactly why he's going D1. I'll be rooting for the Indians come playoff time but tonight it will be all about the Titans.
  3. It's getting pretty old hearing all the oldschool TJ and Lincoln graduates saying PAM can't renew rivalries like the old days. The kids on the team literally grew up in the same homes, apartments and neighborhoods. Had PAM been in the same district as PNG and Nederland since the merger then this discussion would be moot. The tension has been marinating for over 15 years as you can obviously see with everyone's passion this week being at an all time high. As the article states, this is truly more about the city of Port Arthur vs Port Neches-Groves. Yes I understand TJ has their own history that PAM can't claim on their resume but at the end of the day if you don't think these kids aren't out for blood then you're either stuck in the past or a non-believer.
  4. I am a veteran and I won't ever support Kap or any of the other players that kneel during the anthem. Yes, I understand it's their right to do what they need to in order to raise awareness about the ongoing police brutality, but I just don't agree with the way he is doing it. He is doing this during his "work" time not on his own time. If any of us did that during our work time we would be fired before we could say "oppression". His actions may have brought much more publicity to the issues at hand but they have also divided America even more. I will be honest, for the most part of my life I was never really fond of police and what they do because of the bad rep they have always had for as long as I can remember. After being overseas and having people that don't even know tell me how much they hate me when they don't even know a thing about me really helped to open my eyes. There are always a few bad eggs that slip thru any system and make the cut. It's very ignorant to put all police officers into one group just because you see a video on the news of a cop brutally killing someone. Once I saw Kap wearing his Fidel Castro shirt and those pig socks, that's when I was certain he was an ignorant fool. I may not have walked in his shoes and seen what he's seen but I promise you that If I were to make millions of dollars doing something I love I wouldn't have the audacity to say that I'm the one that's oppressed.
