This is not the 1st time Nederland has gone up against a team with lots of weapons.

Lucky for Vidor & Nederland that PNG actually has to play the game before they can actually put up the Win. I actually thought PNG had a good chance to beat Nederland the last two years but it didn't happen. This might be PNG's year to win but I'll wait until November 4 at about 10:30PM and we will see. PNG come and take the Bum Phillips trophy if you all can.

I guess the Coogs forgot the butt kicking Vidor gave you all at Lamar a few years ago. I worked security for Lamar on the Coogs side and you all couldn't believe that Vidor was running the ball down your throats. I told several of you then that Vidor had a good football team and your defense needed to do a better job of tackling.

This is one of the top 5 teams Matthews has had at Vidor. If they stay healthy they will be a force to be reckoned with. It was one hell of a game last Friday.

Nederland did fine last Friday. One of our QB got hurt, and Lange came back in still injured from the Dayton game. Simmons did not play against Vidor either. Just waiting on the UIL to decide. I hear PAISD is slow responding with all the PW needed by the UIL.
