If PNG plays offensively like they did and makes the mistakes they did against Vidor then I see Central winning. If PNG can make the adjustments or changes then PNG wins ! Hard decision which game to go too !!! But prob going to Nederland & Dayton game.

I have to agree Vidor did play a great game on the defensive side. Ya'll were in PNG's backfield alot and in the qb's face alot as well. We noticed your D went up the middle alot with your nose guard and linebackers. Vidor did prepare defensively for PNG. Good job, Vidor will be good next year.

I went to this game last night. I had a couple of buddies in from around Dallas. They wanted to watch PNG play down here. Anyway we had to all agree that it appeared PNG showed up flat. They didnt play like they have the last numerous games. Me and my buddies opinions (one a former offensive coordinator for a div 2 college), Qb made some flip plays that he should have held onto, one which resulted in a vidor TD. Also I thought the O line was not blocking very well, they looked flat. Vidors D was in the back field alot last night espically on pass plays. Png's QB had to squirm around to avoid sacks. Vidors D line looked like they were dominating PNG's O line at times. There were to many bad snaps from the center. I dont know if it was the cold or just a problem between the center and QB. Hemmings is a monster while running. Wright is very explosive around the corners. Cant wait to see him break one for 80 yards. PNG's passing game was just ok. Good pass to Johnson for a td that was called back. We all agreed that the defense held onto the game for PNG. Defense needs some secondary work though. Overall I thought PNG walked out of there with a lucky win. They could have easily lost to Vidor. A few penalties called differently. PNG needs to work hard this coming week to beat Central. Vidor is going to be a good team over the next 2 years with the group of kids they had on the field last night !!!

Nederland will win, but LCM will play them tough and make it a nail bitter down to the last seconds of the game. LCM has nothing more to lose. So they will prob come out with a attitude of HEY !!! lets just have some fun and see what happens. I just hope Big NED dosent take LCM lightly. They have some very good players. Their running back is super fast and their QB is a very good player and passer as well. I think it will be a higher scoring game. NED 42, LCM 40

Close game predicted here. I truly believe Ozen wants to play a spoiler now. They really put the hammer on Nederland friday nite in the first half. If Lumberton can pass more effectively they will pull away from Ozen, but Ozen wants a good win really bad. Just dont take Ozen lightly !!! They have been in alot of games that could have swung one way or another if they would have stayed with their momenteum. Lumberton in a hard fought battle, close score, LTOWN by 3. 17-14

OK here is a take that i see. Lumberton is undefeated, good job. But, ya'll get on all these threads and start bragging and saying this and that about how awsome Lumberton is. We have all heard this go on before. Especially those of us who have been involved with winning teams year end and year out. So this is your first year to go beyond just a few wins. If your able to understand humility then practice it !!! because your non-sense and bragging only adds fuel to the fire of the remaining teams you have to play. I think they all want to shut your mouths and make you go home with your tails between your legs. I see a true team and fans as those that can back their team but you guys in lumberton take it way over the top. Ridiculously way over the top. You fans make it ridiculous !!!!!!!!!!! for lumberton. Nederland brags but has humility and a sense of understanding, as does PNG, central, and Dayton. You can make all your predictions for the rest of the district play, but each game is different. Nederland was the fav against PNG but who won. (Sorry DOG fans) you havent seen PNG start 7 different post and go on bragging. They build off of their win and move to the next game. I dont see Lumberton doing that much at all. I think lumberton will loose atleast 2 games. Probably this friday against PNG and the other against Nederland. I think your big head bubbles are about to be popped !!!!!!

MCM !!! WOWWWW finally here. Both are 2-0 in district. If PNG brings their A game its gonna be a close slug fest !!! I know Nederland is the Fav in this one, but dont count out PNG to possibly pull it off. I know the respect is there both ways, it wouldnt surprise me to see this game go into OT !!!! I have to say its too close to call at this moment. If grades affect either side it could be a pivot point to consider. I dont think report cards come out till Friday. I give this game a 3 to 7 point victory margin. I cant predict who will win. Either way I think that both of these teams will end up in the playoffs this year.

ok what happened at the PNG game for LCM ? I thought you guys were gonna take em down big time like last year. Is PNG just that good ? Is their D that good and does it seem like their O is working now ? I know LCM has a great D what happened at PNG ? I know alot of questions but I think some of us would like to know.

Man oh Man !!! Tough call. All I can say is that I wouldn't want to be on the recieving end of a very mad Central team. If Central plays like they did against Nederland in the first half then Lumberton will walk away with it. If Central plays as they did in the second half, then Central wins. The second half Central is the Central we all have come to expect. (Grades could affect both teams as well, for eligiblility) Just a thought to throw in there. Close game. I think this will be a big test for both teams. Like with LCM & PNG, whoever wants it the most will win it !!! 1st half central team. Lumberton 28, central 24. 2nd half central team. Central 28, lumberton 24. (refer to the above comments for 1st and 2nd central team) Comes down to mistakes made in this game.

I'm not defending anyone in this decision they made. But I went back and watched the game video on the PNG web site. I saw the center block and then go to set up the screen. The ball went to the back, he was running and if you will go back and look at the video, you will see he was heading towards a linebacker when Tezeno ran into him. Now in all my years of playing ball, including college, a running back is to pick his seam and run off of the blockers. Your center was in the process of moving towards a linebacker to block him, setting up a wall. So if your "lazy center" is so lazy then why did he appear to and actually show in the video his movement towards a defender to block him. The running back ran into him. Now a more serious note: If your actually on this team, and your accusing someone of being lazy, I feel real sorry for this teams future. Im sure if you do play, you have loafed on the field as well. Which I did not see the center doing. Now I will instead go watch a real team who has togetherness than a team who beats and talks down on their own teammates. No wonder PNG is having such a difficult time. I'm sure Nederland and Central will be a more exciting game.

They changed out the center ? What was wrong with him to begin with. He is a massive kid ! and good ! Well I surely hope that if this faster center dosent cut it out there they will put the regular one back in. I see this as a very big gamble. I hope for PNG's sake it dosent back fire. Good luck !

TOOOOO close to call right now, but edge wise to Central. (HOME GAME) If it were in Nederland I would give edge to Nederland. Hey ! In this district its pretty much anyones game !!!!!!!!!

If PNG can stay healthy, and get their passing game going, then I think PNG will pull off the upset. PNG's Defense is probably one of the best in the area. I think alot of folks have taken PNG lightly this season, just like Ozen, watch out, because once both of these teams get their O in line and rolling they will win the tough ones, both teams have a chance at the playoffs. PNG vs LCM. To close to call right now. Who wants it the most will win it !!! Thats my prediction !!!!
