I'm not saying that I don't get upset when my kids make a mistake on the field or when n their teams lose. What I am saying is that I don't stay upset for days afterwards and act like a kid by arguing with other people about it.
I'm here because I like sports and I enjoy reading the opinions of other people about upcoming games and other things. There is nothing wrong with being passionate about football or anything else. I have seen passion escalate quickly though.
Because I enjoy watching and spending time with my son at the games. I enjoy how sports brings my family together. My kids play softball, baseball, football, and as of next year volleyball and cheerleading. It's good for them. I have seen parents take their emotions too far at baseball and youth football games though.
This will be a good game. Got to go with Porter on this game, they have a lot to play for. I'm sure there are some people at NC worried about them this year.
It's funny how grown men argue over abunch of kids playing a game. Really? I enjoy watching and talking about it with my son, but these are kids playing a game. I know I have gotten upset about some of my son's baseball games and have stayed upset long after he had gotten over it, stupid. Don't get more upset than the kids who are actually playing.
I'm joking, but being serious now. I know there are probably a few people who are worried about the New Caney/Porter game, especially since NC has never lost. I think Porter may have turned the corner and will be a force to deal with. The old coach, Reno Moore, has to be shaken his head.
