  1. OF JV got beat by BC Freshman last year so I do not see alot of help coming from the underclassmen
  2. Way to go OF!!!!!! Make Orange County proud!!!!!BC is behind you!!!!!
  3. So you have one starter and a bunch of question marks and you predict a playoff run?????? And how do you know who will play and who won't and who will start and who won't......................geez! Sounds like the team has been picked for next year so the one's that sat the bench might as well quit as you seem to think a whole new lineup is coming a year from now. And yeah they are several that won't play after this year I figure................but why bother, got freshmen coming up to steal the show, lol. Be a part of the program and get to know the leader of the program and you to will have the power of knowledge. Don't bang on my opinion when you really do not know the program and please don't use the phrase ...........geez because it sounds so Beaver Cleaver!!!!!! Remember my prediction and say to yourself that person really did know what time it was. Now that this thread has taken a turn to a new subject you can start a new thread called "I'm from Bridge City and I want someone to write something so I can ridicule them". Write me in '09 and see how close I was!

  5. Great effort against a great team and we are very proud of our boys. As for next year the only returning starter is Tyler Hyde who probably will be starting at the 2 spot and grew into a pretty good player this year with his defense and three ball. Do not forget the very solid JV squad who has some size and talent and at least one who will be a soph who has some things to offer. I think the line up at this point will be a stunner to some folks but I think it will be a very competetive one (some of the names mentioned above either won't play and only one or two may start. I am predicting a playoff run next year without hesitation with the direction we are going. Go Big Red!!!!
  6. Hyde and Clark with BC have a pretty dang good three!
  7. Much closer this time with BC on a little 3 game streak and getting better. BC beat WO-S last night pretty good who OF beat in OT last week who almost hung the horn in HJ last night. Decipher that statement and it could possibly mean upset with all of the stars aligned and BC plays with some serious emotion like last night. HJ has been beat and came close again which certainly can humble even the best of teams like they are year in and year out. Good luck to both teams and hopefully we can finish out strong and get ready for next year. The great part for BC is HJ has all the pressure without their star player who we all hope get's well. No prediction but it does seem like you here about upsets week in and week out right New England Patriots!
  8. You gentlemen have just justified your gross intelligence to the world of WOS. This thread has been blown to pieces by the MUSTANG SUPPORTERS of OC. I challenge anyone from any other to join this idiotic behavior these individuals have just shown as possible adults. As far as a reply, type your juvenile fingers to death because the BC and some of the WOS faithful won't be reading your crap. Just like WOS in the post season "Over and Out"
  9. Vinaterri we were all hoping not to hear back from you any more on this thread. You crossed the line and you have apologized for your lack of character so please move on. As far as crying, even soldiers cry in defeat but whining is different and you can't change your story now. Now take your pipe dream kicking tail somewhere else and bug them with your 10,000 post because obviously you have way to much time on your hands.
  10. OK Vinaterri I think you have crossed the line. You were not invited to our dumpster thread so why do you keep participating in the dialogue. This thread started with two men who know each other with a friendly fire dialogue and you jump in here with your smart mouth and attitude calling people names. If you want to be a man then shut your pie hole and move to a different thread and bother someone who will listen to your level of aptitude. Noone on this thread wants to hear another word from you or about you and your senseless thoughts. The above thread that made you a hater is the truth and if it wasn't you would have defended it, but you only attacked so that speaks for itself. You are a child running your mouth in a mans world, now go away and let us savor in the flavor and enjoy our childrens destiny and you have a nice day. >
  11. Shows how that feat stuck in my mind. Must have been a morale victory for you though! Congratulations!
  12. Like I said we have as many trophies as you do since 2000. "It is what it is"
  13. WOS92 I really do not think this thread was started by one of our fans but an aquaintance of one of our players. We are just really proud of this group and the group behind them and want to make sure we pump them up as you do your team on every other thread in SETX SPORTS. So if you don't like it, don't read it and rest assured you did the right thing by combining your teams due to lack of participation so all have a chance to play. It takes you off the blowout hook with the fish level that never translates. Not that it translates in your program either as far as post season play. BC has come as close to winning a State Champiomnship as you have since 2000 and do not bring up what happened 20 years ago because noone gives a crapolio. You still had to drop down in classification to win that (5A to 4A) and still dropping (4A to 3A). I guess next year Newton will be your crosstown rival (2A). At this point I do not really consider 20 something district wins a major accomplishment (although somewhat of an accomplishment)at this point because you should be winning, but leave the bragging to others who are growing and prospering in their school district. We are having a down year but the sad part is you folks know we will be back soon. Dan Ray gets his first loss from BC from this group in the next few years and post it on the fridge so you can say BCbacker07 really new about the translation to the varsity level. One word for you before I go "GIDDINGS" GO BIG RED!!!!!!!
  14. There's a storm due Thursday at Mustang Stadium and their calling it "Red Swarm"
  15. I think I understand what you said so bring your wallet too and BC will take your popcorn and your money all the way back over the bridge....GO BIG RED!!!!!
  16. BC has not giving up 42 all year as a total and WOS might be good but as they say "They aint that good" This BC team can play! Come Thursday and bring your popcorn!!!!
  17. BC Freshman have one loss for the season and it is very hard to predict a game like this when you have a couple of sensational teams. I do know WOS moved up one of their better athletes to get some JV time and this will hurt. This BC team has speed, durability and will flat out lay the hat on you whistle to whistle. This is one of the groups that has high expectations from the community and the coaching staff not to mention the 8th grade right behind them who indeed pounded WOS for the district dance last year. This will be a great game and good luck to both teams! GO BIG RED!!!!!!! Bridge City 28 WOS 12
  18. You can read and you know exactly what I mean. All these threads and you pick mine to reply too. Must feel a little guilty. Great game and great sportsmanship by both teams but you are exactly right what comes around, goes around and every dog (I mean cat) has his day!!!!!Go Cards
  19. We are loaded all the way down to the eighth grade who actually is very strong but only played 14 players in their last game. These types of numbers will not carry a program at the high school level. Once you mesh all of these groups of kids into one team meaning the juniors, sophs, and freshman who have only one loss to date you will have a very deep talent pool. I promise you this is just a down year and we have to deal with it. Next year when we get back on a roll people will have Coach Stump a hero and how he turned the program around so fast. You could have had Jimmy Johnson coaching this team and it would not make a difference. To many injuries and to little experience. We will get through this year and then pull out the scorecards for a reminder of how we gave up 60 points to certain teams and then it will be on....Go Cards!!!!!!!
  20. I have read all the threads concerning the "Cards" that pertain to different kids and the coaching that I would love to adress. After I reply most of you will know who I am but it's ok with me. As far as the coaching give Coach Stump some time he inherited one returning starter, placed a new system from top to bottom and has a total of six games head coach experience. Before he is done he will make us all proud and you can take that to the bank. I coached 90% of these kids from the age of eight until they hit school ball and know what Coach Stump has in the stables for the future. These kids are eating a big piece of humble pie at the moment but the juniors and below (do not know any of the seniors but keep your head up and keep busting your butts) will gain character and a sense of desire from this experience. Someone stated on a previous thread the this will be a season to forget but I promise you these warriors will never forget what they have gone through and the "Cardinal" will fly high again very, very soon. These kids have always been winners no matter the sport and have very few losses since they were in the mighty mite division. We need to remain unified as a community and quit pointing fingers at jersey numbers because you win as a team and lose as a team. I have seen some kids and more than one I might add bust their ever loving tails every Friday night with limps, bruises, concussions, and whatever might be the injury to the very last whistle and everyone knows who the kids are. Remember last year we had the very best multi-sport individual (LSU signee) in the State of Texas that comes along once every five to ten years at QB and even he could not get us to the playoffs with all his talent. Football is a "TEAM SPORT" no matter how you slice it. We will be a force in the years to come and everyone will remember our record from this year and it will be our time to shine and bring home some wins. We have a couple of stellar groups to sprinkle in the talent pool and mark my words in this thread we will be a district champ contender in the next couple of years if not sooner. So for now lets eat our piece of the humble pie and support our "Cardinals" and Coach Stump to the very end of this season and set up preparation for another run. Like I stated earlier we will be in the mix before you can buy your season tickets for '08 and this this is not a prediction it is a fact. Respond as you see fit but I can give you win/losses of the up and coming groups and it is very impressive all the way back to when they were baby ballers and they will not be beat easily. Come out Friday and support your Cardinals to the very last whistle because they need us now more than ever and I promise you they will return the favor in the not to distant future. Print this thread and put it on the fridge so I can say "I told you so" GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love em like their yours!!!!!!!!! BC 21 OF 20 Cards win due to community support! Good Luck Bobcats!
  21. BC has a fleet of skill players coming up from the 8th, 9th, and JV who blistered Liberty (9th and JV) 78-0 and the 7th and 8th got things going in the right direction against Lumberton with combined scores 88-0. So the stables are full in BC and looking good for the future. Bold prediction, I have been around all of these players since football babies and we could possibly in 2010 have a real shiny trophy.
  22. Bridge City QB Dustin Breaux is a legitimate 4.5 in the 40 and he is elusive and plays bigger than he is listed. Lumberton might be the victor but one thing for sure if he turns the corner it will be see ya'll later. Prediction= 200 yards rushing, 150 Passing Hard to have a loss when one guy gets 350 on you with his arm and legs. This is a humbling reminder that we might be young but we are still the Mighty Cardinals and when Raider Nation leaves Friday night they will know as every team we line up against knows, we bring it on every snap. So buckle it up, strap it on, call the play, we will stand tall win or lose.....GO BIG RED!
