  1. I can't imagine that it's going to happen. Lumberton appears to be bottom feeding again.
  2. I think he left the word "stomach" off the end of this thread title.
  3. What is a "supper district?"
  4. What is Lumberton's district record now?
  5. He ran pretty well, that's for sure. Only one completion for 12 yards and a fumble, but impressive numbers on the ground, averaging more than five yards per carry. I feel bad for Garrett, because he played sparingly in the second half. He averaged about 12.4 per carry, so he could have had a career night if he'd carried it more than 10 times.
  6. He got the wind knocked out of him early in the fourth (or late in the third) and they pulled him out. My understanding is he's fine.
  7. LOL... Good one. DPG gets 124 yards on just 10 carries! I'm so glad he's a junior. Earl's injury certainly slowed us in the fourth quarter, but the Cats should hold their heads up. They fought to the end.
  8. Backups in in trash time... Good game, Cats. Your kids fought pretty hard!
  9. Bevil throws another long TD to Earl... 34-0...
  10. Lumberton up 7-6...
  11. I've heard it's now 26-0...
  12. TD pass to Earl Thomas. 27-0 WO-S... PAT makes it 28-0 w/ less than a minute left.
  13. WO-S nabs a fumble out of the air and returns it to the OF 39.
  14. OF is doing a nice job running the option - with quite a few first downs already.
  15. Depauldrick Garrett takes it 37 yards for a TD. 13-0 WO-S
  16. I think the Hoover thing is overblown, because I don't think the level of competition is NEARLY what it is here in TX on the average week. I'd like to see WO-S vs. PN-G (always a fun game) or WO-S vs. Newton. Outside of my team, I'd like to see PN-G vs. Nederland. It's about time these two teams played each other.
  17. Ned goes down in a big way.
  18. That would be a great game. Unfortunately (or fortunately, for one of us) it won't happen as we'll likely be in separate divisions.
  19. So that would put it between y'all and PN-G. PN-G beat Lumberton. Game over.
  20. Silsbee and Jasper are the two biggest schools in the district.
  21. Vidor takes this one.
