Our defense was the best against Lumberton. Also when you lose key players on defense that hurts. When we are putting up 40-50 points per game and your quarterback is not 100% but still plays his heart out that is TOUGHNESS. The score would have been different and the outcome could have been different.    NO EXCUSES but Nederland did not see our full offensive force tonite like it has been all year so good luck and know THE BEARS WILL BE BACK

Well when our quarterback was not mobile like he usually is and was playing on a hurt knee that is tough.    IF'S are big but i will tell you this if Gonzalez would have been at full force the game would have been closer and i feel we could have won. Yes our defense did not look great tonite but Nederland caught us when we did not have our quarterback at his 100 % and he is a tough kid.  congrats to nederland. Maybe you may win one game in the playoffs.

I agree with you Bmt Souja, and Coach Matthews does have a way of getting his team ready to play. But Lumberton does have a good quarterback and receiver, but they just ran into a BEAR  DEFENSE AND HIGH POWERED OFFENSE THAT IS DOING VERY WELL.  But in this district you have to be ready to play each week.  Anybody can be beaten if there not ready to play, and Lumberton better be ready to play or Vidor may come in and beat them.

And did it derail.  45-0 The Lumberton faithful were leaving at the end of the 3rd qter.  They just could not keep seeing the train derailing

Even though we silenced all the Lumberton L TRAIN talk about how they were going to beat LCM, and I mean not just beating them, but keeping them from scoring.    45-0 I still think Lumberton will be glad to be back home and win this one easy. Ltrain 28 Vidor 7

Only 2 teams undefeated after week zero is LCM and Lumberton.  (unless Livingston won) WAY TO GO BEARS AND RAIDERS. Both teams they beat were in the playoffs last year.
