north shore will be a "L". the other will be DP or LP. heck, thinking more about it...could be 7-3,but should finish 8-2.
NS is bipolar ::) if they beat Manvel next week then i'd be worried facing them. They played Clear Springs and blew them out, from what i hear CS is gonna be average this year.
Based on Smitty's history, I am sure this thread is leading up to a diatribe about how the defense would have performed even better with a different Def. Coordinator and how the defensive stats from last night weren't legitimate because Crosby wasn't very good and other teams from our district played tougher teams last night.
LOL :D :D :D

i'm giving PAM an 8-2 record going into the playoffs with a scratch and claw preseason. by no means am i bashing my team. just being realistic.
(in bold) that's the funny thing, cause i have them with the exact same record. (DP, C'View losses) maybe 9-1 if they get by DP.
Buddy, Texas teams should roll....while Union and Jenks are good I've found since moving to Tulsa is that Texas athletes are a step above ...The reason Union and Jenks dominate Oklahoma football is because of their enrollment numbers...Several years ago the huge OKC high schools split into smaller schools...These two Tulsa area schools have not.... It started after the 5-2 vote and continues. Why do you think Stump, half the Administration and coaches from WB left? BTW, Atascocita beat Dobie 31-6.
Please explain. And quit trying to justify WB getting sorry on the school board. Maybe Ozen is that much better and Stump whined his way into 2-8/1-9 seasons as long as he's @Atascosita.... LCM, they got shutout by WO-S.
I though we were going off who played the toughest team.
well it sure seems like WO-S was the toughest team in the area for last night with a shutout last night, 1 of many on the season IMO
So you think WOS would beat Pam?
oh no, depth would be on PAM side. but i dont see where PAM comes into the WO-S vs LC-M shutout though. Care to explain?
He asked who played the stiffest competition, I took that to mean who played the best team.? Imo Pam is a better team than Wos, so therefore Central played against tougher competition than LCM. Understand now?
IMO LC-M went up against a tougher D with a one-man show in Sezar and got shut-out. I agree overall PAM may be the better team, but the better team last night in the area was WO-S. ;)
Game was actually pretty entertaining. Central fought tooth and nail and came up short. There was a bit of this game that I didn't witness(the first and 4th it appears that we did decent. On offense, Memorial was able to more the ball . Then we have the big stop. #8 was killing us. Memorial's qb is legit and has an arm, but guys, that backup looked to better than the starter when he camein for Fisk. We had a LOT of players that cramped up and were brough to the sidelines. Not sure what was up with that. Memorial should have stayed consistant to the air attack. We had problems early defending it. That one play in the right end zone, our cb turned aroud, saw the ball, and fell. He reached up and pulled the Titan reciever down. Looked like defensive pass interference, but they called something on Memorial to offset it. In other words, the officiating stunked up. Central's defense allowed Memorial to drive at will but made key stops at times. We need to attack more as the year goes by. I do like the fact that we a better than last year. That wr reverse would have spelled paydirt for last year's team. We stayed home and held them to minimal gain. On offense, we gave up on the run too early. Why would you run in the inside. You had success around the corner. Go back to it. Mitchell have matured as he does not do stupid things lije take the big hit.. He runs out of bounds or slides. Memorial will be ok if they can fix stupid penalties and turnover. They have a good team and will need to fix some things before they can rival LaPorte in their district. Central? We'll be fin. A lot of people picked a 3 or 4 td blowouy, but its good these Jags had no quit in them and kept it going. Now, next week, u look for us to utilize our running game more to open up the pass attack., if our reciever were catching passes tonight, it would have been very interesting. Not an excuse, because if Memorial did have dumb penalties and those turnovers, I would have probably gotten ugly. Good luck, Memorial. I'll be in the stands next, week to check you out.
Like i said last night, you guys will surprise some folks in 20-4A. Kudos to your Jags, they're not back but they was not shook last night like in previous years IMO
