Crosby’s defense is keeping them in this game, despite poor offensive play calling. Crosby had the ball in the red zone twice and no points.

Coaching really matters. As you stated, Crosby just had some deep playoff runs, followed by terrible seasons. What changed ? The coaches. PNG hired a new coach about the same time. They hired the right coach.

Two games against lower classification teams and only 14 points to show for it. Terrible. The offensive scheme just looks ridiculous.
