    Jasper would be nuts to get rid of Brooks. Brooks history is excellent. Give him another year and they will be good. Kirbyville - if Alvarez was to win it all I could see him trying to move up in classifications.

    I will assume you are not talking about Brooks. Jasper may be down this year and maybe next year but Brooks will have Jasper in top form within three years. Lauve lost several quality coaches since he took over.

    You are correct. Neil Heningan was the coach at Spurger for those two years. He then moved to Colmesneil and Woodville and coached the schools to the state tournament in 2000 and 2005, respectively.
