  1. Got it: [Hidden Content] Any other stadium news??
  2. I’ve create d a stadium database for your cellphone. This is strictly a “Beta” version since I’m really out to the limit of my web knowledge. Try it, if it does not work for you let me know and tell me what kind of mobile device you were using and I’ll try to make it work. This stadium database only has the bare essentials. It has just enough to get you to the game. Here is the link [Hidden Content] Thanks! __________________ Texas Bob [img][Hidden Content]/images/phone.jpg[/img]
  3. [quote name="dunmire13" post="999139" timestamp="1303156592"] Some of the info on the stadiums isnt true. [/quote] Just let me know.  All I ask is when you're estimating seating capacity don't give me a standing room number and dont be a homer and tell me that it is bigger than it really is.  All the information on the stadiums are true as reported.  That does not mean it is correct.  All you have to do is put your corrections on this form: [Hidden Content] It's a long form but you dont have to fill it all out.  BUT you do have to put the stadium name, city, your email and the things you want to update. Thanks TexasBob
  4. I'll be there.  It should be a great game.  I'll also be getting a new picture for the stadium listing.  I'm looking forward to seeing the new stadium. (with the funny name)  I'm sure it will be great.
  5. Update your stadium listing! It is that time of year. I’m polishing up Texas Bobs Stadium Database for the 2009 season. I’ve redesigned the listings and have more pictures and more stadiums than ever before. If you are lucky enough to have a new stadium or a major renovation, let me know. Go to this link: [Hidden Content] Find your stadium using the map or the search. If the information is not correct just click on the “Update Stadium Listing†link located under the picture. If your stadium doesn’t have a picture or needs a new picture, send it to me. Thanks for your support.
  6. It would be nice if someone would go to this link: [Hidden Content] and fill out the information about this new stadium. I will go ahead and publish it as "Under Construction" until it is finished. Thanks
  7. Let me give you folks a little update: Each year in July I work on my football stadium database. I usually try to update the information about each stadium and if possible make some type of improvement to the listings. For example, one year I added 1100 Google Map listings, another I added additional details like does the facility have a track or soccer capabilities etc. This year I have completely redone the way the web page works. I have done it all in a MySQL database with PHP dynamically generated web pages. This year I will maintain both the old system and the new. At first glance the main page looks the same, but as you dig deeper you will notice the difference. For example in the new system each stadium has its own web page and a larger stadium picture. (if available) The old database: [Hidden Content] The new database: [Hidden Content] Most of the data and pictures that I have comes from you the fans. I appreciate you support and look forward to you continued input (corrections) and feedback. Also as you can see stadium pictures are more important than ever. TexasBob
  8. Horseshoes, Hand granades, and Stadium Capacities, close is what it's all about.
  9. That's pretty close to the formula that I use but I believe 24" per person is a more accurate measurement. 100 x 3 / 2 = 150 (people on 1 row) 150 x 26 = 3900 (total number of people I have count well over 300 hundred stadiums around the state and many times compared it to actual counts and it is amazingly close. When you use this formula you don't have to deduct for ramps and other anomalies. It gives more of a "Butt on the bench" count. At the end of the day unless you spend several hours with pencil, paper, calculator and binoculars, it’s an estimate.
