hey spartan i saw number 9 from nederland black senior walk all over lumberton last night. was that peewee team?

those rebels are on a role in usssa tournaments.  they won again.  why are they playing 11aa instead of aaa?  in nations they are elite.  I guess just chasing trophies. I would expect them to be bumped up after another championship.  the rebels coach is probably best in the area, he gets all he can out of his kids.

Not sure how many teams they have, but your right, I didn't see them either.  Not sure what the deal is.  You seem to be in the know about all that so you tell me what is up.  I have heard all kinds of rumors, but so as not to cause drama I will let others comment on that. 

My son played in the tournament this weekend and noticed there were not any piranha or gladiator teams around.  Was I wrong or can anyone explain why if that was the case?  just curious

well hopefully the hitting machines will work at this place.  I hear it is supposed to be very nice.  I wonder if it is the same guy that was talking about building more fields sometime. 

the peewee png team had a very nice presentation.  I think their league president was the one that did it.  the junior ned team did not have much of a presentation either.  one stjfl guy and 2 others handed out trophies with not a word being said. Nederland is not far behind you jag.  I think I will stay where I am.

Come to my conclusion from listening to the moms and coaches. Lumberton kids are playing to not get blown out. They r scared and will not score. They walked into the Super Bowl by the way it played out. There coach is good and plays the underdog very well. He will be out coached Sunday. Word is they will try to hurt 8. Don't really think that is coaches intention just how parents take it and what I'm hearing. Nederland may not shut them out but will be up by 28 before half BANK IT

In Senior, I think the Indians will come out on top.  Especially if the kid that got hurt doesn't play.  It should be a good game though Small school, I like WOS.  It may be the best game of the weekend   Junior, I like LCM to stay undefeated.  This too should be a good game.  big school, It depends if cupcake crew stays with what they are good at and doesn't change things up too much.  closer game than people think.   PeeWee, I have PNG winning big.  small school WOS.  this game will not be close at all.

Nederland white ran right at mr. Flinthills shut down defense. There was nothing shutdown with the blocking from whites line and backs lead blocking for their awesome back. Game was close in first quarter but white blew the doors open in 2nd half. Good game by both teams.

Wonder if Ned black is preparing for no. 22

its going to be real funny if neither bmt. or png make it to big game.

Lamar, not so fast on that guaranteed super bowl for next year. according to the whisperer he is coaching Nederland senior next year and will be stacked supposedly.

latest update is that the Nederland middle schools have more smack being talked by the kids than this board ever thought of.  you can only imagine which team doing the most talking.  apparently one team has told kids to talk on field.  too funny. 

Been doing a little snooping of this Nederland game this week and talking to a few coaches.  Apparently white has made some adjustments on defense to adjust and have some suprises in store.  not sure exactly of what kinda suprises are.  Most of the black coaches are tight lipped except one of my old plant worker buddies.  I will say he is extremely confident.  They have  a few plans of their own with a little TWIST

He/she is a very smart person that knows football.   he/she is the one sitting behind you taking notes.

marie, I see Bmt gold having a chance to win this one with their speed. As far as the Nederland teams, I didn't get a chance to see either one of them play this weekend.  I will be there next Saturday though. I don't see black running that defense against them if it is what I am thinking of (mirror defense).  Once their back breaks the line he is gone.  White has too good of blocking for that defense.  I hear there may be some surprises in stock for this one.   I think LCM wins For the other games you may be right.  PNG senior will be out for revenge against vidor so it may be opposite of last time they played. would love to see another png v. bmt super bowl.  it always makes for a good game.   good luck to all

how about some lines on these games.  just curious how you feel first really turns out. 

Well assuming both Nederland teams make it past week 1, I think ned white wins.  I have no DOG in the fight (pun intended).  I have seen both teams play twice.  Nederland white is more dominant on offense and defense despite what black may say.  Black is good and will score, I think white will come out on top though.  good luck to both teams to make it.  I also predict that Lumberton White may have a tougher time making it to the big bowl game.  They better not look past Bmt gold or they could be in for a rude awakening.

Be careful vidor for the 2-5 number one seed bmt gold team.  They FIND a way to win.  Anything can happen with 9-10 year olds.  Could the #1 seed be upset in first round?

haven't looked to see if they meet in playoffs or superbowl.  not sure of bracket and how it works.

Nederland White has dominated on both sides of the ball Nederland Black has been good on both sides of ball but can be scored on Cupcake crew is a new team since they played Ned. B and will make it a game Bmt. B has solid backs with some speed Lum red-have potential to beat both bmt teams Vidor-doing better with their running up the middle and up the middle and up the middle Bmt. G-they did beat the warriors and Png P but will not beat Png next time, if they meet again. Png P- only because they lost to bmt gold and have to prove themselves PNG w-struggling to us their huge linemen to their advantage Warriors-talented but unorganized at this time.  

no I have just seen L town play and haven't been impressed lately.  Think white wins but vidor has improved.  Think Png purple is a better team.  may be wrong but I think bmt gold will be stopped. sorry Spartan just the way I see it.  don't really care one way or another.
