  2. they did have pretty good size (shelbyville) and when they play someone not quite as good on defense their offense will have a good bit of explosive plays and with not so good a offense their defense will look alot better as well. they have not played good teams is the problem. 3 1A teams that are not very good, a winless trinity team and huntington? 5-0 is 5-0 and they did that. congrats. now they're at 5-1 and could very well make it 8-2 regular season record. good luck to the dragons.
  3. are you (newton_eagles) talking about when we played coldsprings and did you use to play for kirbyville then ?
  4. all this talk about running up the score. yet the team still NEEDS PRACTICE looking at all different types of plays not running against their own team in practice. whats the point in going half speed in games just to pad the score and send the other team home hqppy in a VARSITY contest? what good did all those difficult opponets in pre season do them then? play soft through all their district games til newton and they will be in shape as if they were playing 1A schools and be far less confident in what they CAN do
  5. kirbyville does need to make a lil smarter defense though. shelbyville did alot of very smart plays throwing right at #10. any little bit of a better passing team and they will capitalize quick and often. undersized, slower, and not near as smart or seasoned hurts when u play good teams. SEVERAL plays this was obvious
  6. wo-s is wo-s. anybody has the CHANCE to lose. but they will not. possibility yes, reality says no tho
  7. this is way off the topic but does anyone know when kirbyville's homecoming will be now?
  8. well for kville... if they lose they still get good practice and can just say well, it was wos. for wos... dont think i need to finish. [Hidden Content] good news for the game.... hurricane ike track makes it look completely possible
  9. wos would def contend more than a 30 point spread .... thats WAY too cocky

  12. BOTH teams had ALOT of stupid mistakes and mess ups and bad coaching decisions..... EXCITING game but lots of mistakes on both sides
  13. so theres only going to be a certain amount of games picked each week right ? like 15 games? and are we adding week zero with the stats?
  14. lol. buna played OF not LCM. yeah, that would be hilarious though
  15. its what kirbyville live and dies on though
  16. crawford will be outstanding as well. broke his leg against carthage last year though
  17. YOUNG back. could tell he would be REAL good last year though. 29-14 kville. if it was 14-14 though ppl wouldnt be dogging kvilles defense like that though
  18. believe i mentioned musgrove.... lol
  19. they do need a lil more discipline at times and to tighten up the d
  20. special teams doing the scoring means their defense is putting them in great posistion and their offense gets to rest. cant wait til they let musgrove out to play
  21. kick return kville TD broderick jackson!!! 86 yds
  22. matthew deaver playing football? what does this kid NOT do???
  23. HA! three rounds?? not cleveland..... the kirbyville game was kirbyvilles first wet game of the year. ALOT of fumbles kirbyville had control of the game the entire game though really. they also probably were looking ahead to the next week against a good caldwell team since they had already SHUT OUT cleveland IN cleveland
