I'm sorry, you're correct, got the games backwards. They lost to Clear Lake 5-1 (according to Huffman game changer). It was Clear Lake that got beat by LaPorte 13-2. Sorry about that.

I watched Huffman play LaPorte last week. The score was 13-2 in 4th inn when game was called. It appeared Huffman is down this year.

We had one bad inning where they hit every pitcher we threw. They can hit, but we didn't help ourselves with a couple errors, walks, and serving up meatball pitches. Still early, hopefully we can regroup, have some tough games this week

Barbers Hill looked good again against Baytown Sterling. Strong pitching, fielding, and bats. Should be another strong year for the Eagles.

BH looked really good tonight against Atascocita. Eagles will be solid again this year.

BH scrimmaged 6A Summer Creek on Monday. The Eagles appeared to have some sticks and very solid defense. Summer Creek had a UT commit pitcher/ss that was a man child. Pitching is a work in progress, but should be good to go in the next couple of weeks. Next scrimmage is Friday against powerhouse Atascocita.

If you're a PNG fan, you should know. If not, then I'm leaving it at I just know. All schools fans get mouthy, hence my comment about a typical HS sporting event. I know the dad that I was told was the person upset. He's a good dude. I wasn't there so I don't know all of what happened. I do know that 99.9% of HS students act the same way at sporting events.
