That is true now but we have lost a few kids to y'all during the last several years and with good reason. I considered moving there myself when my boys were playing. I don't see GCM ever dropping back to 5A because that's where all the growth is. If anything I'd like to see GCCISD revert back to previous school lines and give GCM more kids so they have a better chance to compete. Then possibly move kids away from Sterling and towards Lee to keep Sterling 5AD1 and eventually bring Lee up to 5AD1 so we at least have 2 schools in the same district. Better it be the old Baytown rivalry.

It's been going on for awhile. I think Crosby's poaching days may be coming to end soon though.

121 points in two rivalry games is pretty impressive for GCM even though it's against smaller schools. I'm curious to see how they look against a solid 6A team. Do they finally get a district win in 6A? I don't think they've achieved that yet. Maybe against Channelview or Humble?

We had trouble streaming the Hudl broadcast last week. Kept freezing in the first quarter than nothing past halftime. It's possible we were having issues with our own internet but don't know for sure. Gonna have to go watch it in person this week.

Playing in Hitchcock, now 34 to 7 Hitchcock. Somebody might want to tell the two yahoos near the broadcast booth for Hudl that their conversation is being heard.

Anahuac is actually playing Hitchcock tonight. Hitchcock is up 26 to 7. My grandson is starting at linebacker for Anahuac as a freshman.

Had two interceptions on the goal line and a lost fumble inside the thirty. GCM could have won this one by 2 touchdowns. Offense moved the ball well but could not sustain a drive. Lot of positives and negatives to take from this one. The biggest positive of all is that the negatives can be fixed.
