Wow. I did not even see the lineman from Jasper on this list and he just gave Texas a verbal to play for them. Not to mention Shorter from Newton and he has a total of 20 offers already.

[/quote] I went to the Newton game Monday night and most of Crockett and Woodville fans were already inside the gym before the end of the 1st quarter. From what I saw after the game no one had to repay for the next game. If you make it there during the Newton game you should be alright

Kountze game plan is to full court press, full court man, and half court press with traps on every pass you make. I don't see this team running up the score on anybody. Turnovers play a major role in games and with the pressure Kountze provides it can kill teams. What's Jubert suppose to say "stop don't steal the ball." Kountze is focused and they know exactly were they are trying to go. I have seen them play at full strength a couple of times this year and their guards are leading the way. Austion bound. JMO

You have the top 3 teams in the state playing at the same place and through in the football team from Newton. Kountze is seeking revenge and Newton is still trying prove that they can play a little b-ball. Should be a good night in Lufkin. 

Newton 91 Deweyville 41 Newton had a pretty good all around game tonight. The shots were on targets tonight for the Eagles.

Looks like Newton has 2 RB's that can carry the load. It will be interesting in 2013 with Elam at QB and that OL coming back.
