The champagne has been purchased.  Will send you a video clip of me drinking it in yo' face potna'!
Yall just started playing football. lol. You do realize even before these kids that might have transferred that AJ Jeffrey wouldn't start at received here but he does at SC and is most likely going to he the #2 option. Not to knock the kid but the Crosby kids said he can't even catch. IDK how valid that is but that's the word on the street over here. IDK how bad we will be after this year either. We'll be young but we should have the best defense we've had in a while in '14. Austin's replacement will be a kid named Taylor Perry who a lot of people feel will be the best rb in our history and probably has a sophomore season comparable to Austin's 1485 he put up as a soph. Jordan Hill will replace Raelon and might already be better than him, he has a twin brother and they're bot already 6-2. Aston's going to be replaced by either Tristan Cotton who some want to start as a soph. this year or Manny Netherly who's 6-3 and the fastest kid coming to high school, he's won everything in track. I know Riordan is looking at this kid as his next Tyrik Rollison. We also have this kid named Shamal Gray who could end up being the best of them all if he can stay on the field. We won't be as good in '14 as we will be this year but the cupboard is pretty full over here. If Chase went to school here he would probably get close to 100 targets his senior year and have another 1000 yard season which would actually be very beneficial to his recruitment.
We played a finesse game because we could.  No one could stop it.  Having said that, SC could have gone to punishing ground game with Aldridge if Ford was inclined. Crosby sound excellent on paper ...let see them not shoot themselves in the foot this year.  Something bout those Friday Night Lights that causes Crosby to drop balls and make penalties. Based on the Spring Ball game, Jeffreys either can't or won't catch the ball. I think he wants that RB position bad enough that he's intentionally dropping balls to force the argument.
Oh do I see some of those discipline issues that were spoke of when news broke he was going to SC coming to light?
You quit meddlin' ...AJ is in pocket and will be the leading rusher in 19-4A this year IF he's given the chance. Dayton looks good ...in 2014-15!
What?  ::)
Dayton is WEAK and will be lucky to see 3rd place this year in the district.  I see 2 certain losses to SC & Crosby and one more very possible loss to BH.  Nothing about Dayton (other than their history pre-SC) says 1st or 2nd this year.  Pray for an SC move to 5A and you'll have a chance again.
i for one am praying sc stays in our district. I have seen what sc has coming up and it is not impressive. Daytons freshman beat sc by like 50. So im hoping yall stick around. Dayton will have 7 sophmores starting this year and they all can play and will make an impact this year.
SC will be "WEAK" after this season.. whether they go 5A or not... 9. We are 60 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is.... International Joke Day It is celebrated on 1st July. This day is prominently for laugh out loud with your friends and dear ones. International Joke Day may appear to be no serious stuff for many but the day speaks volumes about itself. Joke day can be an awesome opportunity to act humorously and laugh your heart out. History of International Joke Day Although the creator or the origin of the day isn't very clear and known, it is still celebrated around the world as it a happy holiday. It is said that laughter is a remedy to all ailments then why wait for any other day than the “International Joke Day”. It is believed that the first joke originated in ancient Greece by Palamedes. He shot to fame for outmatching Odysseus before the Trojan War. A laughter club was first formed in 350 BC. That indicates that humans have always enjoyed cracking jokes and having a good laugh. It is the primary nature of humans to swap jokes and witticisms and this is what keeps us apart from animals. How International Joke Day Is Celebrated Many people across the planet are suffering from pain and agony. Reasons may differ but it is certainly a painful sight to witness suffering people. But on International Joke Day, everyone can spread a little laugh to not only to their near and dear ones but also to the entire world. There is no bigger exhilaration in this world than being happy and spread happiness. Cracking a zestful joke or two, making funny gestures, rotating mirthful videos, passing jokes through email etc. are all those activities that are mostly popular on July 1. It is said that laughter is contagious. The more you laugh, better are the probabilities of you attributing to make the world a better place to live in. Medical science has also accepted that laughing enables you to fight off illnesses by catapulting your immune system. On International Joke Day, people use to crack some funny jokes and make others feel happier and better.   Its ice baby day<--- hes a joke all by himself. We laughing at you baby.. not with you...

 12. We are 61 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is......   Meteor Day Today is Meteor Day! The word “meteor” refers to a visible streak of light that is produced by debris falling to the Earth from space. We also call this beautiful phenomenon a “shooting star” or “falling star.” The tradition of wishing upon a shooting star can be traced all the way back to 127 AD. Ptolemy, the Greek astronomer, hypothesized that the Gods occasionally liked to peer down at Earth from the other world. From time to time, a star or two would slip past them and fall through the heavens. Anyone who saw a shooting star knew that the Gods were paying attention so it was the perfect time to make a wish! Did you know that shooting stars are actually quite small? The average meteoroid is about the size of a pebble. Around 15,000 tons of meteoroids enter the Earth’s atmosphere every day, but very few of them actually reach the surface. When they do, they are called “meteorites.”

 14. We are 62 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is....   National Waffle Iron Day It’s National Waffle Iron Day! Today is an important celebration for all the breakfast lovers of the world. Homemade waffles are one of the cornerstones of a delicious morning meal, and the waffle iron makes it all possible. Waffle irons originated in Belgium during the 14th century. These early contraptions consisted of two metal plates hinged together. The plates were then attached to a long pole, which allowed the cook to hold the iron over an open fire. In 1869, a man named Cornelius Swarthout patented the first American waffle iron. This device was designed for cooking waffles over the burner of a wood or gas stove. Fifty years later, General Electric began producing the first electric waffle irons for everyday use.

We should rush for something in the 4000 yard range this year.
crosby has everybody back and plays dayton at home. Please no excuses when dayton wins again. This better be the year crosby does it because if not it might be a while. Side note. Crosby will not rush for 4000 yds unless they go deep in the playoffs.
We rushed for over 3000 last year with Riordan refusing to give the ball to Austin some games which caused him to check out of games for stretches mentally. I think Austin gets around 22-2600 by himself with Aston throwing in another 9-1100. I think we could doit in 13 games. I'm not sure about it being a while after this year either, I think we probably lose in 2014 but the class that will be freshmen next year has another 5 d1 kids. 3 Of them were dunking last year in 8the grade and if you think Walter can run the ball picture Chance Casey with power 'cause that's who's next in line by the name of Taylor Perry. There's a receiver who's actually a football player first that will be bigger than Raelon and isone of the ones dunking already. The qb was the fastest kid in the middle school and is already over 6-2 with a cannon, he was the jv qb wearing number 18 during  7 on 7 if anybody saw. My son's class is also full of beast but i think the reason Crosby is starting to have a lot of these kids is because the enrollment is going up. The 80 something million dollar bond passed says the new school they're building is supposed to be able to house up to 2800 kids. I think my son's class has over 450 kids which tells me we're going to be close to 1800 enrollment by the time he graduates. Just like way back in the day when Crosby played for a state title and Dayton was pulling a vacuum, it switched during the Stewart era. Now it's about to switch back with Riordan and increased enrollment.
My sons class had over 450... But by the time Graduation came, they were down to 283... So your son's class #'s mean nothing... Class Enrollment drops in every school Due to transfers, sadly teen pregnancy, just dropping out, etc....
I don't live in Dayton though . . . .
Did you not read that part of my comment?
If y'all lost over 170 kids which which was almost 40% of the class that's a Dayton issue. My class started with 300 and graduated 243 back when they didn't care if you skipped or didn't go. 40% of our kids won't move away or get pregnant, people actually move to Crosby instead of away from Dayton. That's awfully sad for your son's class but out issues aren't that serious.
Well they care if you skip and don't go here.. and if you think "stuff" doesn't happen at Crosby you really are delusional... Dayton just happens to be a small town..  Is the only 4-A school in Liberty County. I don't feel sad for his class at all. This is where parents need to do their jobs and raise their kids like they are suppose to. Instead they think the school system is a baby sitter. But anyway.... getting back on the original topic of this thread... I would be on the fence on who would dominate between Nederland and SC. I do believe either could win.. Would depend on who makes the least mistakes. It would come down to a nail biter score at the end. And just to make it clear on my sons class enrollment dropping. This is over a course of 6 grades. From 7th grade to the 12th grade... Not in one year.

 18. We are 63 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is......   International Caps Lock Day TODAY IS INTERNATIONAL CAPS LOCK DAY! It's a whole day dedicated to something that drives most people crazy—text that is written in ALL CAPITALIZED LETTERS. International Caps Lock Day was created in 2000 by Derek Arnold of Iowa. This holiday began as a parody. It was intended to poke fun at those individuals who unnecessarily capitalize letters, words, and phrases. The day became so popular with internet users that it is now celebrated twice a year—on June 28 and on October 22. Hit your caps lock button and celebrate INTERNATIONAL CAPS LOCK DAY!   It's BRONX ROX DAY! ;)

All of daytons talent was young. Just like sc the year before. All i can say is sc is one injury away from being a bubble team to make the playoffs. Quit worrying about dayton and hope your team stays healthy.
I'm talking about the last year and this year at Dayton.  No denying Dayton's lineage in the region and the quality of players from the program. Yes, SC is in hot water with an injury at one of a few positions.  They greatly need to identify their future QB and give that guy as much time as possible.
dayton put more kids in d1 last year than crosby. This year dayton has alot of juniors that will play d1. Talent was there effort and attitude wasnt. Also key injuries.
We didn't send anybody d1 last year. Should send 5 this year to make up for it though and Blackburn who was honorable mention all-state last year will probably play FCS. Other than a lineman I think Keener is the only skill position player going D1 that Dayton had on the roster last year.
Dayton had a D1 player last year?  Was probably the water boy.
Keener was a sophomore last year on Varsity. He still has this year and next to play. And will probably go D1 if he keeps his stuff together and stays focused.

But yall didn't even know where Dayton was, last year. You played Dayton one time..And your an expert? Yall just happen to win... Which is a rarity.. everybody knows it, except you... and maybe some of those delusional posters from BH.
THIS Dayton team STINKS.  You're in denial.  Maybe the 2014-15 season will be better.  IJS.  Dayton fans keep talking about the past like those guys will line up this Fall. With all the hype that is following with SC... What would their psyche be if they lost a district game? not looking for any SA answer :-D serious question... I mean with all the success they have had in the District games... how do you feel they would deal with a District loss....
I know IMO coach it would be just like Lincoln in 2000 out of that stacked 20-4A district they had back then, changes would probably be made that don't need to made out of panic, only difference is I don't think SC would implode and miss the playoffs like Lincoln did after losing to WO-S then rolling off 3 more losses to end the season.
I totally agree... I do think that a District Loss would make them more dangerous in the post season though...  kinda like a slap in the face... I think then they would come with that killer instinct...
If SC does have a district loss, it will be against Dayton.. IJS  :P
Not IF, its when they play Dayton they will have a district loss, and im not so sure if SC can beat Crosby after thinking about it, if Crosby can play a lick of defense better than SC they will beat them also.
I don't think dayton will be able to score with us this year. The people i work with from dayton that watch practice said they're rotating 4 kids at qb and none look ready. Dayton was a 3rd and 36 prayer from the back of the endzone from being checkmated. The 3 turnovers to dayton's 0 killed us more than the two holding penalties we had deep in dayton territory that negated first downs and certain scores. We basically did whatever we wanted on dayton, both twins rushed for over 125 yards and raelon had over 120 yards on double digit catches. Just like the SC game the next week we had issues executing in the redzone. Dayton played their best game of the year and we played our worst as you can see by how the seasons ended up. I know dayton fans chalk it up to attitudes but y'all do know their younger brothers and cousins are still on the team right? Once other coaches got film of Dayton throwing fly routes they never moved the ball on another decent team all year. If we don't turn it over Dayton won't beat us at home this year.
If I had the time.. and wanted to make an effort I would so go find the thread from last season where you said almost the exact same thing.. So what happened last season?  If these Dayton people you speak of, are on this forum please make it known who you are... I think your about as delusional as DD's I mean you did change your screen name after the loss you took from Dayton last year to Coug8broncos<--- that name change didn't make any since either...
I did say that last year, turns out i was right too. 5 of your 11 games y'all struggled to move the ball. Only playoff team y'all moved the ball on was us, we moved it every single game except Ned which was Roirdan's first game. Like I said, we played our worst and y'all played y'alls best. Y'all played 5 playoff teams last year and other than us you didn't have more than 239 total yards in any of them, y'all didn't even break 150 breaking on SC, Ned and BH. Y'all played one good game last year Zapril, come to terms with that like i have.
Umm you were talking about the game against Dayton.. Now that you have been called out.. you wanna drag the other "W"'s (which is all the matters anyway) into the picture.... And DD's you have no idea what you are talking about...
What I do know is THIS Dayton team STINKS.
hahaha... you are now in the elite club of haters of the Dayton Broncos... We are used to it...  ::)
