Silsbee, Central and Ozen have not had just one year of success...

No disrespect to what Coach Sutherland has done at Hardin Jefferson.  I am just curious to know why HJ is continuously highlighted on Sports Extra year after year with the  attention and interviews and they are at best the 2nd best team in their district this year.  HJ was featured earlier in the district season with a Sutherland interview and also was interviewed live before the Ford Park game.  Why hasn't Silsbee or Coach Sigler been featured?  The first place team in their district!  Why hasn't  Central  been featured?  Why hasn't Ozen been featured?  Makes you say hmmmm!

Let me get this right!  HJ beat Nederland! Central blew out HJ! And Nederland is ranked #12 in the state? While Central is ranked #25 in the state? As I always say rankings don't win championships!

My source told me that Jordan Hunter was sick and didn't play well against West Brook but the kid seems to be the real deal.  Ozen beat a good West Brook team without him scoring.  Ozen's defense is pretty solid.  Ozen will be hard to beat.  I hope there is a West Brook/Ozen rematch in the YMBL tournament.

Nothing is wrong with the Jags!  They are young and have the most talent in the area.  It helped there confidence by playing a team (Hardin Jefferson) that it seemed shot 2 for 50 from 3-point land.  By the time the playoffs come around the Jags will be ready.
