You are always good for a laugh, never giving PNG-P a chance.  Like I pointed out before I'm not sure how you assume white was better from my understanding white beat purple by 2 when purple was something like 5 startes short.  I'm sure purple has your non bias predictions posted all over their fridges.  I understand your feelings are hurt since you have picked against them most of the year and they continue to win. Go Vidor!
Dude.....you need to get off the closet love affair you have with Lumberton...... We were hoping for an all Lumberton superbowl, but it didnt happen......Our boys played a great game and I'm proud......The better team today was PNG-P...... I wish both teams well in the bowl.........I hope Lumberton comes out on top
Dude.....no I'm just tired of getting on here and listening to everyone slobber over Lumberton and give no one else any respect.

 4. What a great day of football, thanks PNG for being a great host.
 5. For all you Lumberton folks who were so confident...I guess you can throw out that ALL Lumberton Super Bowl!  Lumberton B vs PNG-P senior Go Vidor!!!
 6. You got it, couldn't have picked a better day to watch good football!  Good luck to all teams involved and prayers go out that everyone stays healthy.  Go Vidor!!
 7.
Well as usual there seems to be some confusion in these threads and maybe some hurt feelings. I would like to put the issue to sleep if possible. We already know that PNG Purple is a No. 2 seed. And in accordance with the seeding process, they are automatically awarded the home team sideline in their game. Although I agree with the seeding process and how it has been handled in the past, myself, my coaching staff and of course our players don’t want to take anything away from Port Neches White except a victory. For the record, Lumberton Senior Blue took a team vote tonight to allow PNG White to stand on any sideline they want. We just want to play FOOTBALL Mike Minton, Head Coach, Lumberton Senior Blue President, Lumberton Youth Football & Cheerleading
Mike, you and your team have earned the right to be the home team with the #1 seed.  Thanks for all you do, nothing but respect for you.  Good luck tomorrow evening.

There is a monatary benefit for the hosting school. The hosting school profits from the money from the concession stand revenue which is well worth the work. OF hosted last week 1st Round and made enough for much need supplies and equipment that the league needed and it was only 15 game. PNG will host 20 games and I'm sure its worth the work for the entire league.  Multiple schools put their name in the hat every year for every round. And it's voted on, not "given". Because every league knows the fundraiser potential. As far as the STJFL President running the show, we All have equal say in what goes on.
Thank You! What a bunch of cry babies........sounds like a bunch of High School girls gossiping about boys  ::)
Very few understand the logistic in pulling off something as complicated as the playoffs. If one little thing goes wrong it's always "a huge" deal and they have it out for "my league or my team" mine... Mine... Mine.... instead saying "hey, stuff happens". Let move on and think to ourself , I'm glad my kids has a place to play some sports somewhere safe. Fixed spelling so I won't get laughed at.
I absolutely understand and appreciate all the work that goes in to setting up a weekend like this.  I know it is a scheduling nightmare so thanks for all your hard work.  Bleachers are bleachers and the better teams will win no matter where they are asked to sit, I think my issue was more about the attitude of Lumberton fans and then bragging about having "home field refs".  Do we really have refs from a certain town allowed to work that teams games?
 9. Does any one know what the schedule for the weekend looks like?  Thanks in advance I know Lum-B vs PNG-W at 5 Lum-W vs PNG-P at 7
 10. It's funny because I actually had a Lumberton parent tell me this at work today making fun of PNG because "we are taking over their house".  I don't have a dog in this fight just glad I don't live in either city....  He also laughed at having some " home town officials working their games"
 11.

Png-White in a shocker 12-30! Png-Purple 0-28 steam roll! Bring on the spell checkers!
You're gonna have to pull it off from the Visitor's side of your own stadium.  Word is PNG teams are going to have to sit on the visitor side of their stadium...good luck with that.
Are you serious, that sucks for PNG and seems a little ridiculous that the higher seeded Purple would have to sit on the visitor side of their own stadium....let me guess Lumberton has something to do with it!?!?!?
 12.

Png-White! and Png-Purple! Superbowl 2012. If this happens they will make 3 superbowls next year call them… Big & Small & Wittle schools!
No chance of both.  Maybe one, thats a big maybe.
How is that a big if since PNG-P already beat Lum-W?  You must be another Lumberton pumper....
 13.
Looks like only ones notified were Lumberton about results of meeting. Guess STJFL President being from Lumberton helped.
BINGO
 14. Funny how that works isnt it, I have a hard time believing this is overlooked to any other team than Lumberton.
 15. It doesn't matter if the cards were produced later in the game, the rule states that if a player doesn't have a card at the beginning of the game he can not pay the first half.  Only after his card is reviewed at halftime can the player play the second half.  If the rule was followed none of the Lumberton players should have been allowed to play the first half, resulting in a 1-0 win for BMT.  It shouldn't be left up to the coach to be the bad guy the league should have made that call to inforce the rule.  Why have the rule if it's not going to be inforced?  It just sucks that the league chooses when to and when not to punish teams.
 16.
Lumberton W is out of the playoffs...
Where are you getting this from?
 17.

Who you got? BIG SCHOOL 1 Lumberton-B vs 4 PNG-W 2 PNG-P vs 3 Lumberton-W SMALL SCHOOL 1 WOS vs 4 Kountze 2 Bridge City vs 3 Orangefield Winners will play in superbowl!
Seemed to have gotten off topic.  Bad News/Good News:  Like I predicted last week, PNG-W will not win against Lum B.  At least they will not have far to travel in defeat....it's like golf cart distance. I had initially picked Lum W, but after the time they had with Beaumont, I think PNG-P will pull this one out.  It will be a close game....but unfortunately for Lum W, a far distance to travel in defeat.....like not golf cart distance. WOS and BC will win the small school division.  Kountze is tough...but WOS is WOS, WOS wins.  BC kinda tough...Orangefield not kinda tough.  Long drive for everyone....car pooling is recommended, but not required.
I like your post......way to keep it fun! I will, however, have to disagree with you......I think Lumberton W will pull it out........Here's why: The Beaumont kids knew they had lost once to white and had to bring it to pull off a win.  They did bring it and almost pulled it off...... Now......White KNOWS they almost lost that game, and KNOWS they have to bring it to beat PNG-P....I think you will see a team with a different attitude this Saturday.........I never predict score, but LUM W should pull this off.....
I'm sorry but I get a kick out of your reasoning, I guess a chance to get to the Superbowl isn't enough to get PNG-P ready for the game.
 18. WOW, that's funny that the thread is gone.  The rule clearly states that if a player doesn't have his card at the beginning of the game he can not play until the 3rd quarter once his card is reviewed at halftime.  Since Lumberton didn't have there cards at halftime then they shouldnt have been allowed to play at all meaning a 1-0 win for BMT.  THESE ARE THE RULES, it shouldn't be up to BMT to call them out it's the leagues responsibility.  There WERE other board members out the from other organizations and nothing happened, please explain that???
 19. It never hurts when the league pres. Is associated with your team.....
 20. You are correct, the boys played hard and got the win and that's all that matters.  Ii just find it funny that this board has some obsession with Lumberton football.
 21. Everyone infatuation with Lumberton teams make me laugh.  Blue is a good team but white looked horrible yesterday, I bet they put the ball on the ground 8 times.  The ONLY reason Beaumont didn't win was because they but the ball on the ground more giving white great field position.
 22. After watching PNG-P last week I'm suprised they aren't getting more talk.  They controlled evey aspect of the game vs Vidor and looked really good.  After looking at the scores they beat Lum-W and only lost to Lum-B, WOS and PNG-W but my understanding they lost to PNG without something like 6 starters.  I believe Lum-B is the team to beat but surprised PNG-W is getting so much run you can't give up that many point and expect to beat playoff teams.
