Do y'all still have openings?

Not all the coaches on the team have kids playing. I would bet, if your kid didn't sit the bench you wouldn't have changed your name and posted this!! The coaches have done their best in the short period of time that they have had. You have this in every little league around! Parents thinking their kid is better then the other. Just as you think yours is better then the 1st baseman. I was at game and the only reason they (lumberton) lost was because of two big hits from West End. Both were HOMERUNS one was a walk off in the 7th. So what did the coaches do wrong? Nothing. Now to answer your question, nothing needs to be done about the subs. Or maybe have someone who dont have a kid on the team coach it. But im sure people like you would still complain!! The only thing that needs to be done is not to allow so many on team!! 13 is way to many but what is the right number? BTW I bet he don't have anything to complain about tonight's game!! His boy played!!

Take those other two off their team what do you have. You would still have two very good teams. Cant say that about PNG W.  If 81 was on those teams......... wow Not taking anything from the other two they where good but both where on better teams and didnt have as much on them as 81 did...imo

WOS had lots of them BC #23 #22 OF #13 Lum W their running back cant remember his # Lum B no single stand out. just ONE heck of a TEAM. thats why they won it all. could not key on one single player PNG W #81 Ktz #8, #10, #53, #56

[/quote] As I understood it from previous posts, you were not on the field.  I don't know how you know that he waived his rights.  Also, I saw the posts that the Bmt coach began in protest, which would protect his rights.  I also saw posts that indicated that the Bmt coach agreed to play, if Lum coach produced them at halftime, which was not done.  In that case, I think he (bmt coach) did enough to protect his rights.  I did not witness what was said.  I am looking at this from the outside, on some message board, responding to what anonymous(ish) posters say.  I am not trying to make a conclusory statement to the facts, since I was not there to witness what was said.  I do not think anyone cheated.  I have not heard that was even an issue.  What is at issue is the rule.  If it was broken, and the league allowed an exception, I would like to know what the decision was and why.  Not because I want to attack or applaud it, I just want to know when I can have the exception.  When does the rule apply to my team, when does it not.  As a coach, what must I do to preserve the rule?
