  1. His name is BRENT waldrup and he plays for space city
  2. Whenever brent plays soccer and makes the move into open space or can recieve that pass he has the tendency to say yeah multiple times to alert his team mate of the oppurtunity. And so his freshman year and lumberton the seniors deemed him yeah-yeah, that was at least after earning several other nicknames first
  3. Yes i must agree that both wes and mark stepped up there game yesterday and played awesome games
  4. Alright since you are so smart im going to say this and be done with it because your stubborn and headstrong. He had five guys COMPLETELY on him with a FIFTH (which means 5) coming to support. Comprehend that?
  5. Granato, M. Brackin, Poole, Waldrup, Garza from lumberton at least
  6. Yes i am well aware of the fact that the central team's defense had its "holes" and weakness's and for the majority of the night was content with simply kicking the ball away whether it be upfield or out of bounds. However the film for this game was watched today and there was at least twice that he had five players defending him and once where at least 7 started to sink towards him on the outside. now all be it, it was not a full mark for the entirety of the game but still quite an obstacle to be taken on. And yes by all means it was a tremendous team effort by the lumberton TEAM and i applaud those players who stepped up to take on the challenge.
  7. Jcb first off i must agree that you are the only one that appears to have the irrational inclination to think that Brent Waldrup is in anyway an overrated player. Fernando is a very good player that is undeniable and i will admit that but he was able to play better because even at the direst of times during the game he was marked by 1 maybe 2 people and a supporting third at times and he was shut down for the most part. However ask the central players(they stated this after the game when asked) that they were told when Yeah-yeah touch the ball for everyone to collapse on him from what i heard and if you were at the game you noticed that at times he had as many as 4,5, & 6 people sink towards him. I dont care how good of a soccer player you are when playing on a high school caliber team it is an a near impossible task to dribble through that or to even get a ball out of that kind coverage, off night or otherwise. And im sorry you feel that he is overrated but he has played many extraordinary games this year, above and beyond what could be asked of many people. He was a driving force behind the lumberton team and along with the extraordinary efforts contributed from many at the end of the day helped to bring home the win. Congratulations Lumberton and Keep up the good work
  8. going a little crazy with the posting there? just a little, good effort. But time better spent on maybe...soccer? dont you agree
  9. Even if Lumberton only beats central by 1 on march 20th, they will still play the next week i believe to determine District Champs. not sure though, does anyone know?
  10. Another good game that im looking forward to seeing the end result is Central vs. Nederland. Nederland played an outstanding game against Lumberton the other night, and if they are able to put that same game against Central I seem the Jaguars adding a loss to their record.
