No, the worst thing that you could do was #1, the hiring of Jeff Stewart, an okay FB coach, but a horrible AD. The #2 worst thing was the irresponsible and terrible hire of Shane Deel. Chad Taylor's hire doesn't even come close to being the worst thing the committee or Supt. could do compared to those two horrible hires. Taylor will be a disciplinarian that Deel didn't know the definition of and Taylor  will tend to the other programs than Stewart didn't know existed since he thought FB was the only sport at the school. That's not even up for debate. End of story.

Coach Taylor was the QB his senior year (1990) in Liberty, the year after Donald D. graduated. He was a very good QB and was a "smart" QB. Smart QB's probably make good coaches too. Deel was an irresponsible hire and not that DD wasn't good enough. Enough said. Now this was a great hire. Good Luck Coach Taylor!

They will know finalist by end of this week. May announce him then and then introduce him at 2/19 meeting but not sure. Could announce at the meeting, but will be done deal on 2/19
