  1. You're 100% correct.......DeCarlos Franks didn't play at all, and Jacolby Joseph left in the second quarter with an ankle sprain. Good game played by Silsbee, but the two best players for the Panthers weren't on the court :-\
  2. I've seen Kelly play twice this year already :-\ and was far from impressed.....#13 can play a little bit, but that is about as good as it gets.......Lumberton can't possibly be that terrible The Raiders by 15+
  3. This was a classic battle! J'Covan started the game cold and really didn't pick it up until late in the 3rd and the whole fourth quarter (15 pts in the 4th). He ended with 32.......Memorials kids are in no way bigger than that of Ozen especially with Willie Jefferson and Jacolby Joseph on the blocks, an they definetly don't play bigger....DeCarlos Franks is as quick and as smooth a point guard as I've seen in recent years, but foul trouble didn't allow him to play the whole 2nd quarter. He stepped it up in the 3rd and was the main contributer in that 16-2 run. All in all it was a great game to watch......I'm just wonderin why do you not foul down by three with 10 sec. to play..........brain fart I guess :-\
  4. Eric Gordon is something to watch...he went for 33 last night in Indiana debut, while Kevin Love went for 21 in another Bruin victory.
  5. u can't base the season on one game or two, it's early.......Memphis has one of the top backcourts in the nation.....I mean Kentucky fell last night! U don't think that the Wildcats will contend for the SEC championship because of an early season loss.......
  6. What?? Coach Henderson has already been at Memorial for a year...man I thought you knew Soulja........... ;D
  7. Louisville struggled a lot last year because of the losses of Garcia and TyQuan Dean (sp?)....I still think they are a couple years away from being labeled as a dominate group.....
  8. I'm sure glad Bonzi redeemed himself after that Dallas game.....he looked about as bad as one could be during that game Monday night.
  9. They will always be towards the top because the C-USA is so weak...... :-\ But this is a very good basketball team this year especially with freshman Derrick Rose at the helm.
  10. That's a fact...everything would make sense if this every happened! Good football teams and great baseball teams, I'm just no liking the part about keeping the green and the blue, that would be ugly! I say change it all up.........
  11. I just don't know If I believe that.....you mean to tell me he juked the kid out...scored...and then went back to where the kid was lying and dropped a jock strap beside him? He had time to do that? Was the kid lying on the ground, hurt? If it's true, I'm sorry......it just sounds like a fib to me.....
  12. Hamshire would roll all over that district #3.....you would need to drop HJ and Tarkington and bring up EC and Newton from the #4....then that district would be nice...
  13. Who are Cory Adams and Dustin East?? Your playin' right?? :
  14. I've played many pick-up games in the park in Cheek on the HJ side....a lot of HJ kids some Hamshire kids some Kelly kids sprinkle in some Ozen kids every now and then......you got some good basketball games...HEATED GAMES!!!
  15. "The Cheek Bowl" HF wins...I'm not sold on the Hawks...I think HF could contend for a playoff position, probably not get it, but they will contend.
  16. Anahuac's isn't that bad...they got that pool right next to it.....jump in and cool off! ;D
  17. Here's the same question.......who won last year?? Oregon or Oklahoma??
  18. Eric Alexander has 2 of 3... SFA- not even close LSU-National Title Patriots-Super Bowl
  19. well ........we got a "hands down"....this topic is over!
  20. option reverse....run the option with tailback as pitch man and then the pitch is made right to the wide receiver running the other way and what do you know, HOUSE!!.....tooo sweeet
  21. I saw that not too long ago, and that's one thing he needs to stop doing. One puts themselves in a very vonerable position by leaping. I hope he doesn't make the mistake of trying to do that in college ball.
  22. obviously there is a difference in opinions here and thats fine....I thought it was a hold (no matter where I was standing), and you think it's not. I agree there is holding going on in every play, but it's not holding until one gets caught......and he did. The fact of the matter is we could sit here and debate this topic all day but the bottom line is 6 points was taken from board because he still had a hold of him when the rb was already in the endzone.
