I know my opinion seems weighted to the top three teams in district but I believe those three teams are that much better than the rest due to talent level.  I also know there are probably some I missedbut off the top of my head these are the players that have stuck out.   [/quote There are some pretty good players on Central and Ozen team even though they didn't win, they still played as well as anyone else. Fore Central Donte Gilmore and Devan Ogletree and for Ozen Tre Thomas and Greg Monette.  These are some pretty good players even though their teams didnt do well..
No way do they beat out the players from Nederland, PNG, or Vidor...someone from Central and Ozen will make the team but that only lessens the honor that should come with being All District.
Every team will be represented.  Some deserving players will get passed over to allow every team to have some representatives.  You may not like it, but that is the way it usually goes.
Mr PhatMack19, your talking like those two schools dont have kids that have all-distict potential just like the rest of them.  Like they are just being put on there  but not by their talent.  If yall take the time out to even watch some of these kids maybe yall will have a better attitude towards these kids.
Speak for yourself.  Who are u to judge other players talent.  Central and Ozen can have all district players just as all other school even though they dont get the wins. These schools dont have perfect players and all schools can have all district players.  So why dont you speak for yourself about yourself and quit speaking for others, Mr Luke

4.
1. Nederland- The Dogs had a great run last year with a lot of underclassmen stepping up.  Only lost 3 starters off of last years Regional Finalist team.  Bellow and crew should win the District 2. PN-G-  They have a good core coming back with Benoit, Sweetenham, Reyenga, Jalali and some younger guys that are ready to  step up.  The Indians have some good young talent and Stone will have them ready. 3. Vidor-  If Hester can stay healthy this year, Vidor should be in the running.  They will be young, but have some pretty talented kids coming up. 4. LC-M-  Shane Wadell and ?????????.  This team lost almost everyone from last year.  Lots of new faces will have to step up for the Bears to make the playoffs.  Hard to ever count out one of Griff's team, they should get in. 5. Lumberton-  They have some good players coming back.  They may have a shot to sneak up on some people.
I believe someone better count in Ozen in somewhere on that list.  Dont come in with your eyes closed.
5. I know they have a real shot at the district crown this year, dont count them out this year.  Have a real good returning squad, actually the whole starting squad is returning.  So, I would beware of the upcoming talent on that squad for this year.
6. [glow=red,2,300]Lets go Jags.  All the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![/glow] ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
7. how's the weather for tonight's games in mid-county? Are they still on?
8. That would be Coach Kirvis Fontenot and the boyz from Central.
9. They didn't get it easy last game, so what makes this game different?
10. Vidor's defense wasn't so great against Central so why you pulling Central into your comment. I believe Central has a very good defense and getting better. Everyone has their days and it just so happen that defense fell apart in Vidor. Dont knock them.
11. You are probably right and I would like to commend Vidor for the nice field that they do have. I really like the fact of the flags for each individual team in the district. Futhermore its not All the kids that play there fault for the way that school is treated in the district and its up to the parents of those kids to step up and get something done at the school board. you are entirely right about all the money going to Ozen and Westbrook.
12. Central is already being counted out. I guess these boys will just have to work hard and let it play out on the field. Where my Jags at? ;D
13. Cameron Alexander-Sr Matthew Rodenburg-Sr Kenny Allison-Jr Kelvin Thomas-Jr
14. Even so Mr legit scorekeeper, 3 walks against LCM, no walks against Nederland, no errors he's still at 4for5 with stated rbi's, runs scored, and stolen bases. Can't take that away. I'm through Mr legit and all you haters, just go and talk to and watch this kid. Enough said, I'll focus elsewhere so you can downgrade them. You still have my respect though. ;D
