Thanks, looks like y'all have great running game and a decent passing game.  Got me a little concerned, our strength is our passing defense.  Our run defense is suspect.

What's funny is that the players stats that Eagle8 gave are all very, very close.  I would say that LB Kiano Lucas is closer to 5'10" and 205 lbs and Keshawn Smith probably closer to 5'11" and 170 lbs.  Bless y'alls hearts, y'all thought he was kidding

[/quote] Show me where any of the Tatum fans have trashed your team or coaches.  Evans has translated 3 State Championship appearances into 2 wins and a loss.  1 win in 3A and a win in 2A and a Loss in over-time to another former 3A Farmersville team.  Moved back up into 3A for 2 years, made the playoffs both years and went to the quarters last year.  Yeah, you may see  a couple of idiots from Tatum, but don't kid yourself, EC has 'em too even without the accomplisments.  Heck, I asked a civilized question and another Tatum fan answered it before y'all did.  It's almost like y'all don't want to actually talk football, rather just say "We are going to beat Tatum".  We'll see.  Now, if y'all want to be civil and talk football, shoot.  If not, we can smack talk with the best of them.

I would say the Tatum Eagles most resemble the Dallas Cowboys.  With the talent they have, they haven't played near to their potential, and when they do..... WATCH OUT!!!

How many passing yards does the EC QB have?

It's nice to know y'alls SE Tx spelling teachers get involved with sports, more of 'em should be involved.  Don't you have some homework to grade?  Seriously, it's nice to see the difference between us and common opponents, although it doesn't mean a whole lot.  Besides, y'all played Woodville a lot earlier than we did so y'all may not have been as polished as we were when we played them.... hmmmm, but then again, Woodville had time to polish up by the time they got to us.  OK, OK, all kidding aside.  Honestly, it could come down to mistakes

I'm surprised to see so many comments about how nobody thought EC would win district.  All of us way up here in NE have been talking about EC from the get go.  Of Course we also talked about Newton as well but knew EC would be in the mix.  I just read that this game will take place at 7:00, not 7:30??
