Speaking of defenders...argh that buff sweeper for PNG was annoying. Kept on kicking the crap out of it everytime we got it down there. ...not to mention he plowed me over and put me on my arse in case you missed that.

I'll admit, our first goal was lucky as hell, but there was no way the second goal was luck. Great header by G.Raines Our defenders were good today too when it came to stopping the attack.

The first half was nice, we just couldn't put it in the net even with all of the opportunities. The second half turned into a game of kickball but we managed to put 2 in the net.

Guys we beat them 3-0 but whatever.

I play left wing in HS soccer, but on my club team I play some left forward also. Physically out mid has got to be the most tiring position on the field with all of the running you have to do up and down the sideline, but it's not to tough mentally because I guard my man and that is usually my only defensive duty. Forward isn't tiring at all compared to wing, but I find it tougher to know what runs to make and such. I've played other positions before, but I don't have much experience with them.

How did PNG play? Were they good?

We play PNG next week. We beat them pretty bad last time (4-0) but supposedly they've gotten better. Then we've got Westbrook so that should be a war but I don't think it counts for district.
