The SummerCreek area has a lot of business owners, and Oil company upper management/Fortune 500 middle/upper managers that live there, and do have the time to rabidly attend the games. I personally was in Rio De Janeiro/Brazil during that game, and I am not going to re-schedule a important business trip for a high school playoff game. I did hear that SC had about a thousand people there.
Well thanks for clearing that up.  All this time.... I thought Summer Creek was only filled with janitors, fast food workers and ditch diggers.  ::)
Per the Census Bureau figures, median household income of the SC area is $150,700.
That number seems awfully high considering 51% of the students at SC are economically disadvantaged.
 2. more than 500? Yes. Multiply that by 10? Not even close...
I think DChatman2008 is informing us he will be running the ball this year and next.  ;)
 4. Wow, great to hear of a local athlete receiving offers at the freshman level. I recently heard of an 8th grader from LA that has received offers from Alabama, LSU, and Texas. That's just crazy. [Hidden Content]
 5. Of course a Houston based website predicts Houston teams to win...lol.

However, neither team will score 40+. Vidor 27 -SC 21.
Does MaxPreps really believe that team will score 42 points on our Defense ::)
When you compare teams on MaxPreps it just takes the average scoring on each team. MaxPreps rankings is also based on stats.

 8. Oops I thought I posted this in the Little League child boards, sorry!
 9. Hi, my son is 5 years old and wants to play baseball. He was born with a blood disorder that affected his spleen and his doctor has recently released him to play contact sports. While I am still trying to teach him the basics of the sport I was wondering where he could play come springtime. We live in Vidor. When googling Vidor Youth Baseball I found a Pony baseball league but there is no contact info. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

Once again, this is just what I've heard around Vidor.
This is what was announced last night during the Senior introductions.
Thanks, I heard that last week but was unable to attend last night's game. It was my wife's birthday and I was unable to talk into Vidor Pirate Football as a great place to spend it.  ;D

 12. If that's the kid coming to UT, we don't want him. We have enough problems as it is right now without poor sportsmanship. Besides, Mack won't put up with that.....if he's still there.....
 13. Great season Pirate's, we're all very proud of you. Congrats Angleton on a good win and a hard fought game...and yes we were clapping for both teams. No. 15 from Angleton showed us why hes a D1 commit. Also a player from Angleton, after the game and shaking hands with our players, shouted "Great game Vidor. We love you." I thought that showed class and respect.
 14. Well now that the Texans lost Schaub and now rely on Leinart they are stealing Vidors playbook.  ;D. Plus 2 good defenses.
