when it's all said and done(even though i smack talk them), i think the Indians will be ok. afterall, they have a deep history of producing even when in doubt. just makes em more scary and unpredictable. good luck to the Indians. don't let something like this stand in your way.

A cold chill across your back, you ought to know what will happen next. The lights flash on the crowd grows dense, you lace your shoes and get one last stretch. The tunnel awaits, people stomping their feet, it's time for Victory. It's time for a fight. You rush onto the field with nothing but Pride. You're about to leave it all. For tonight is Friday Night!
then that is a little different. sounds like attitude which imo is unacceptable. don't misunderstand my previous statement though. just pointing out that sometimes kids give it up due to certain circumstances beyond their control and until now it was only stated that the kid quit and the reason why had not been revealed. if he really quit due to a disagreement with the coach, then life is really gonna be hard for him.
Well, if that really is the reason then he'll regret it in the long run. What if PN-G makes the playoffs? :o
big regret if that happens. in fact, later in life, regret regaurdless. hs football was some awesome times for me. great memories and i disliked all of my coaches but one. ;D
I mean no disrespect dont forget I have been the fan of a running since 1992 in PNG til Faircloth came here so i remember wishing for a passing game. Remember if a team has to honor your pass Vidors running game would be tops in the state. Best of luck this year in the playoffs just not against PNG.
don't feel disrespected at all. i know what you mean. i wish during our first two games we would have worked on our passing game. i really don't why we didn't considering the leads we had. when we got down against Angleton last year, we were not expierienced enough in the passing game to hang in there. running and eating up the clock isn't gonna help you much when you are down by three scores. where i agree run if they can't stop you, you still have to show you can throw. other teams need to know you are capable and better yet, respect it.

Carthage Makes Sports Illustrated

At a time when schools across the contry are struggling, Carthage (Texas) High's new $750, 000 JumboTron seems far more outrageous than an Oklahoma City school district's rules barring non-Oklahoma sports teams' apparel. Richard Temkin, Farmington Hills, Mich. Are their priorities mixed up?
Its more idiotic to ban sports clothing just cause its not a Broke-la-homa sports team IMO BTW --> OU Sucks! ;)
;D yes OU SUX! ;D -
If you start something, you finish it. (period) Life lesson is "don't quit." Win or lose, keep going, No matter how bad the coaching is or isn't, keep going, No matter if you don't see things happening the way you think they should, keep going, No matter if you want to quit (no matter how "bad" it is), keep going, and in the end if you do, you will be the winner, no matter how the results played out.
i agree. this is what i have taught my kids. but the question you have to ask, what influenced the descision? there is always more to the story than what we know.
yes he was a beast. we knew he was gonna get the ball and still couldn't stop him. no running around with this guy. he ran over you and you knew it. -
But even you cant say that they would be an even much better team if they could pass with that running game. I once saw a team run a very similar offense win a SC but they were also adept at passing the football . Think of the offense if people had to honor the pass it could be deadly. I have seen it first hand.
i agree with you.(uhoh! ;D) we need to mix it up some. let em know we can throw not just when we have to and everyone knows it's coming. like to see some first and 10 and second and short passes just to keep the D's honest. you made a great point prepballfan.
Think Bridge City's game this week will tell us a little more of what to expect the rest of the season. It was hard to tell against their first two opponents. They look like they have potential on offense with the two running backs. In my opinion they should scrap the spread and put the two running backs on the field at the same time and run out of the split backfield. They had to many dropped passes last week. Seems like faulk is a pretty accurate passer so they could still mix in some passes. I really see them struggling in the spread with the core of receivers they have. Defensively they look very young and untested. Think when they start district the secondary is going to be their biggest weakness. This is just my opinion and time will tell
#34 is a beast and the QB can definately get it done in the passing game, just gotta work on catching the ball. i can absolutely see BC making it to the playoffs.
since we are going back in time, who was that rb yall had in 90? i believe he was #44.
My PN-G history is a little fuzzy since graduation, so I really can't recall. But bringing up the 89-90 teams makes me want to add Ted Ancelet, if for no other reason than to bring Bonzai back. That's something PN-G hasn't done in 20 years yet people still talk about it. Must have really been something.
yes, those were the teams i played against and they whipped our collective butts. i wanna say #44's first name was Ryan but i don't recall his last. -
