I nominate Taylor Reddell of East Chambers. He may not have alot of size but will take on anyone that gets in his way. He is a very strong kid on and off the field. He has had several double digit tackle games. He is also a head hunter on kick off. He was picked as the southeast texas football.com defensive player of the week for week 9. The whole defense got defensive player of the week on kbmt by shutting out Anahuac. At the time they were averaging 34 points per game. Hats off to Taylor. He will flat get after you on the football field!

I'll second that. EC has alot of respect for Warren and appreciate the effort by the team. They never gave up and just kept playing knowing if they did it will eventually pay off. Good Luck guys!

I agree. And another thing is they post the overall record usually once a team gets into the playoffs, when the non-district games dont have anything to do with the playoffs. Just saying.

I think the Woodville football team will represent region 3 district 10 just fine. What they need is some support. I hope there is a big turn out for their game against Tatum. From what I saw their defense aint that bad and the offense is pretty well rounded. I think if Woodville goes into this game with a we can beat this team attitude, they could do it. I think Woodville plays in a tougher district than Tatum. So, if they are in the playoffs that is saying alot.

what I'm saying is it was a wasted effort on the part of the film crew and KFDM. The live coverage I heard wasn't even that good. Also I know the kids watch themselves every week. I thought it would be nice for me to watch on tv. P.S.: Still haven't heard anything about when it will air???????

all i want to know is when i can watch these bucs on tv like we were promised. These seniors delivered the game of their lives at home for the last time. it was alot of wasted effort if this game is not aired at some time! the game was even played on thursday, a short week of preparation for both of these teams to be on the tv.

This group of seniors when they were sophmores in 2009 on the jv also went undefeated in district and preseason. (10-0)

EC should have had 3 shutouts in a row. At Kountze last Friday their receiver ran over EC's corner who was positioned to make the interception. The no-call by the refs set Kountze up on about the half yard line. Its not a big deal, we just would have had three in a row!

i heard Buna lost their qb. I don't know how much this will impact the game but the Bucs must stop #22 and #25. I don't like talking about last year so this year I think we have something to prove. Buna always gets up for EC mainly because it usually comes down to they need a win. These Senoirs turned their season around starting with Buna when they were freshman. Thursday night  i hope they remember how far they have come. They need to leave everything on the field Thursday night, the last home game for this overlooked team. Congratulations to the Bucs no matter the outcome. This team will be remembered by the way they overcame adversity and made a good coach look brilliant. Oh Yah, EC by 22!

Woodville has a big running back. He is hard to bring down. Anahuac must tackle well and use their speed on offense to win. I will take Anahuac by less than a touchdown!

I nominate Tyler Chambless of East Chambers. He dominates offenses along with the others on defense. Against Anahuac he made 3 stops in a row and forced them to punt. They have 2 shutouts in a row going for 3 this week.

Do you know who is going to televise it and if it will be thursday or friday and what time?

38 to Zip! EC dominated tonight.  The defense played over the top. Anahuac did not know what hit them. Hats off to HubTx. Thanks for the support and to all the believers. I will have Anahuac's stats tomorrow but I can tell you it wasn't 10 yards per carry. Don't mean to disrespect Anahuac just give us our respect. Good luck to Anahuac the rest of the year! One bit of advice would be to always believe in yourself and most of all, NEVER QUIT!   

Nobody gave EC a chance against Newton. They said Newton wins by however much they want to.There still seems to be some disbelievers. It seems to me that no one is following 2A football much because the talk doesn't make sense. They say the stats are similiar, but who has Anahuac played so far? EC has only lost two games, both to 3A and equivalent schools. This [b]IS[u][/u][/b] the game of the week hands down. No one will be disappointed if they want some excitement tonight. Defense wins champiionships. The defense will determine the game tonight! Come watch!
