False, no comparison. Not even close.
My $$$$ is on Montana Quirante. He should be 20-4A MVP and 1st team all district on both offense and defense. Twine is good but can he say that???
He will be able to say more than that. We will see when the awards come out later this year. He is only a sophmore but he will be getting first team honors and a lot more (likely all state) in football, baseball and track also. Your $$$ can be on whoever you want it to be on but Twine is the best athlete in the region and every coach that has had to find a solution for him will agree.
On one more note, this kid wasn't on the defensive side of the ball near as much as he was during his freshman year in which he made a lot of saving tackles and big plays using his outstanding speed playing safety and linebacker! This kid could have easily gotten defensive honors too!!! He and his brother both contributed a major part of the offense from game to game!
I'll have to disagree with you there. He is an extremely talented athlete, but he is not a defensive player. He does not like contact at all!
Jesse James, That is true..both are good kids and athletes but they are not going to hit anyone! Justin isn't for sure!  Thats why he will probably be straight baseball next year!
haha...Im sure jesse james hasn't been to a single hemphill game besides maybe the SA game and Im not sure what games wildcat has been at but you couldnt be further from the truth. Those boys proved enough on offense by running over some kids in many of the games all year long and I have yet to see them fall backwards on a carry...San Augustine for one knew they had to hit jordan and justin's feet from under them cause the twines were too strong of runners and thats just offense alone so where does this petty contact stuff come from? Go check out the hudl hightlight of justin when he runs a boy over during the Garrison game ( [Hidden Content]] )...yea he didnt play much defense at all this year but the kid can bring it and he showed that his freshman and parts of it this year when given the opportunity. As for jordan that kid has made tackles all year long cause he has played more defense and yea that doesnt mean he makes every tackle but neither he or justin is afraid of contact!!!

 3. The Twine boys will part the indians defense like the red sea.  Hemphill wont stop them either! I say Hemphill 56-38.  It could go either way....As for SA-It they dont have success early in district, they will be dribbling basketballs last hour during athletics the last 3 weeks of district......NW should be in the hunt and CC bulldogs will run the table in this district (the bulldogs are the best coached and most disciplined team in the district) ....and I am not from corrigan either!  I think anyone can play can make the playoffs here in this district.....CC-favorite and DP being the underdogs. Good Luck to everyone in district! ^^^^This guy here couldn't have been any closer to the truth with his statements, well unless he had said hemphill to score 64...lol....very well done sir!!! Great win to the Hornets in a very well played game. I think they have continued to prove doubters wrong one game at a time.
 4. The twine kid definitely has the talent for D1 baseball, the kid clearly not only chunks the baseball mid 80's but he also lead the district with 9 homeruns as a freshman last year...im pretty sure he also shut woodville out as well 15-0 in baseball and gave central heights issues when they faced him on the mound and central heights has been a dominant baseball team for a few years now! The kid can play anywhere on the field...lol...and although he is a sophomore and cant be talked to by any schools yet they are able to show interest in the kid through the coach in which he has gotten interest playing with the houston banditos through the perfect game! This kid is a beast and a game changer in almost anything he competes in...there are players that have made it to D1 schools with less talent than this kid is at now at a sophomore level in baseball lets be honest! As for football the kid is about 190 lbs and has around a 4.3 to 4.4 forty and playing extremely well right now as far as that goes I can remember a kid named traylon shead who got a scholarship from Texas D1 and he went to a 1a...if you have the talent like that you will get an opportunity especially with the way he has been playing and hopefully continues that way but we will see!!!
 5. I read somewhere that this kid is averaging something around 340 yards rushing per game!!!! Incredible to say the least!!!
 6. Ill definitely say that i didn't think hemphill would win and i knew the twine kids would do well on offense but I am still shocked at how they ran all over buna and taking a tough loss in the final seconds! Defense needs some more work but those boys are amazing to watch offensively!!! Congrats to both teams for a well fought and hard played game!!!!
 7. Great game by the Hemphill Hornets... tough loss but have one of the best offenses Ive seen just need to work on their defense and they will definitely have a great year!!!By the way both Twines killed Buna!!! guess that squashes the "I dont believe in all the hype or dont know anybody that ran for over 200yrds on Buna! Justin twine had over 233yrds at halftime...lol...kid is amazing! His brother Jordan did really well in the second half rushing for atleast 160yrds there was no stopping them two!!!
