Just a great Texas high school game! Pirates came out flat and got down 20-0 before they put things in gear. Hats off to Warren. They came to play.

A great ball game! Deweyville came out flat and Warren came out to play. After being down 20-0 Deweyville decided to put it in gear. Great come back Pirates. A very class act on both sides of the field.

You should be able to see them from that area. I would guess behind the gym not sure though.

Yes, He does a great job every year with what he has.(Low numbers)

Lucky for you it will slow Dayton down. You need to be praying for more rain.

I think the key to the Dayton - LCM game is going to be if LCM's defense can put pressure on Dayton's offense. I mean like get in the backfield before the play develops. Send the LBs all night long. If that can happen they have a good chance to win but if they let Dayton get rolling watch out they are very good.

Deweyville's Offensive line will return the next 2 years. They are all soph. Stephen Gibson will replace Justin Williams in the backfield next year. He is a Jr. starting with Williams in the backfield now. He will breakout next year trust me on this one. He will rush for over 2000 yards next year. The defensive line will all return but DE Tanner Hyman is a Sr. The LB's & Secondary will be filled with able JV players who are having a great year. Deweyville has 8 SR. this year and 13 JR. Look for some big things from the Pirates next year. :wink:

Last Firday night Deweyville's JV did a great job and beat Sabine Pass Varsity 40-29. Deweyville lost the starting QB in 1st quarter and the kids pulled together with some great play calling to pull the win out. It was great to see the young men rally around the coaches. It was on of those games you knew you were going to win.

The last I knew he was at Kirbyville last year. Coach Neece is well thought of in Deweyville and respected. Where ever he is we wish him the best.

I thought you were talking about Head Baseball Coaches. Butler -2 years,Neece -1 year, Vines -1 year as Head Coaches for Zane Williams. MY bad but you are right kids liked them all.
