Hawk Hecklers need to have a huge gathering at the Montagne Center Friday night for the Newton Game!!!! Hecklers need a tailgate party in the parking lot!!

This was one of the most pathetic HS games ever!!!!!! Here are a few key stats!! 1. Both teams in the bonus with 4 minutes to go in 1st quarter. 2. HF had 16 points at half....20 fouls!!!! 3. HJ must have missed 25 FT. 4. Hawk Hecklers made fools out of the Longhorn Laignappe!!! 5. HF player fouls out with 6:45 to go in 3rd. 6. HF 4 players fouled out at 6 minute mark of 4th. 7. Donahoe had his way with another SLC recruiter their watching. 8. Worst 2 officials in the history of HS hoops!!! 9. HJ reserves played more minutes than starters. 10. Lazeek left with 4 minutes to go because he could not take it anymore!! Just a few key stats. Please feel free to correct me on any of them.

I think that it is a 3 headed monster. Brown, Thomas and Donahoe in no particular order. Letsinger would most definately be a honorable mention and he will have his day in the sun, but when it really boils down to who is the player of the year it can only be one of these 3. I am a HJ fan and alum and of course I think that Donahoe is the best. Not only for what he does on the court but off of the court. He is a great student and never gets into trouble. I do not know anything about Thomas other than that he is an incredible player. Brown because he is ranked nationally gets more attention and I hear more about him. Donahoe is my pick for Player of the Year for SE Texas!!!

I believe that Memorial is playing Huntsville. Thats what I heard!!!

Actually the Lumberton coach is the only good thing about your program!!!!! He is the only one that knows what it feels like to win. 16 points in a high school varsity game. TRULY PATHETIC!!!!!! This is not the coaches fault, this is just not having anyone one on the team who cares!!!! This is not an example of running up the score!!!!!

Don't be upset since you are a Silsbee fan and won't have a chance to play for the district title!!!!! I found out late last night that the teams could not work it out and the game will not be played. What more do you need to know?

Just got word that the grapes maybe sour. I am disappointed now!!!! From what i just heard is that the teams could not agree!!!! I will stand by word and not say who it was to be though!!!

Heard a rumor tonight of who HJ may play in their warm up game. I am excited about it and look for it to draw plenty of attention. I will let everyone speculate right now since it is not set in stone. Very interesting!!!

The Hawks coaching staff must have had $$$ on the line tonight. They must have had BC getting 38 (poppabearstars unofficial 38 point line). HJ also started off the game with 7 seniors on the floor!!! 5 of which do not play too much!!! It was ugly from the start. Donahoe was a little rusty and likely scored around 20.
