They won by 7 and likely played the worst game of the year. If Newton and HJ played 10 times, HJ would win all 10 and win by an average of 20 points!!! Jusy my opinion!!!! Your season will last until you face either EC or Kountze. Either of these will send you home. You guys played good last night and caught HJ on a very off night. EC or Kountze will beat Newton by 20+ points if they meet.

The only player not there last night that would even be considered for POY would be Brown. No you cannot go off just last nights performance to pick the POY!!!! I know that Letsinger is better than we saw last night. Whats sad as that Donahoe is better than we saw last night. Too many TOs, missed shots, missed FTs....he rarely misses a FT. I was truly impressed with Thomas. In my mind he has the entire package.

He had the flu, he was home in bed all day and this could not have made him feel any better!!!!!!

I was impressed with the Letsinger kid. This kid has a great head on his shoulders and keeps his cool. They pressured him a good bit tonight and he did not get flustered. He can single handedly carry this team to Austin. However, I do not believe that he is in the same league as Donahoe, Thomas, Busby, Powell and Brown. He is a very talented player but just not in the same league. I am sure I will catch some heck over this statement but it is JMO!!!!! Best of luck to WH in the playoffs!!

The was my first time seeing the Oilers actually play in person and I was impressed. This team is very solid with some good role players. This team make a deep run into the playoffs and possibly Austin!!! Good Luck and make SE Texas proud!!!!

Whew!!!!! Glad for HJ to get out of there tonight. It was ugly!!!! One of the worst games that HJ has played all year. Glad it was a warm up game!!!! Hopefully they got it out of theier system. Newton is very quick and athletic, but they could not hit the broad side of a barn, thank god!!!! HJ was led by Donahoe and his 39 points!!!!!
