EC and HJ play every year, as they should. It is a great rivalry that dates back a very long time.

No one chooses to move the regional tournament. It is bid out every two years. Ford Park arena is more cozy than the Montagne, trust me, it would be better.

Which Freshman are you referring? HJ has a kid that was very good in JH that was about a 6'2 guard but he is not on Varsity or JV....he is on the Freshman team.

Ford Park is the answer to all the problems. They should be bidding for UIL regional tournaments as well. Perfect size, location, and venue.

Just gives the HJ players and coaches some more ammo for the game. Regardless of whether it is coaches, players or fans HJ will use it to their advantage. Although the players should be motivated enough without all of the trash talking.

Unbelieveable, here is someone who thinks Tubbs isn't God. I take my hat off to you sir Have not liked TUBBS since he came to LU 5-6 years ago or whatever it was. He thinks that he is the be all of be all's!!!!! Just another typical man with small man's disease or "short man syndrome"!!!!!!!!

I didn't realize that 13-3 was a "down year" and all three losses are to 4A playoff teams.....

I find it very amusing that all the bashers from Silsbee are looking for ANY reason to be on HJ. Silsbee has been in the regional finals the last two years (one of those making it to state). However, these same Silsbee fans have easily forgotten that those Silsbee teams that were so very good during district and the playoffs were also the exact same Silsbee teams that BARELY beat (a couple of points) MILBURN ACADEMY in the Orangefield tournament early in BOTH of those seasons. HJ, over the last 3 years, during their first 16 games has gone 15-1, 15-1, and 13-3 this year and I hear quotes like "they are taking lumps" and they have some "growing up to do". Geez, it is amazing what success does to some people/haters. HJ has lost 3 games to Nederland, Central, and Kingwood Park. I would say given the results of this past weekend that the loss to Nederland ain't lookin' so shabby now and HJ was 3 days out of football at that point. All 3 of those losses are to 4A playoff teams. If these are the "growing pains" that we must endure then I like the direction this season is going and the prospects of how it will end up.
