Yeah, that's called "team chemistry." I, personally, don't know what goes on with your coaches and their team. However, every kid on a team has a role. Take one or two of them away, and that affects your team chemistry and changes the whole dynamic of the game. Sure, the other kids have to rally back and figure out a way to win even if something happens but blaming this on the coaches is absurd. How about the fact that these girls knew they would have softball games during Spring Break and their parents chose to schedule a trip anyway? Bottom line is if you are a softball/baseball player.....you don't get a Spring Break. That's a fact of life. Plan it during the summer and honor your commitment to the team. Good luck to HF...hopefully you can bounce back. I agree!

RV good post. Maybe some feel stronger about softball than others, recently I realized I was wasting my time on this forum. Not 1 thread stays on focus or serious, guess I am too serious about how I feel about softball and how it effects life experiences. Karma and Conga are more important to some And that is sad

It is not about "kicking butt", please finally realize that. It's about helping girls that want to play at the next level. If you are happy where you're at, then don't worry about GTS.

OK, This is my thought about this fall and multi-sport. The Ronald McDonald is this fall, and if the HS sports kids don't come to be seen in front of colleges, that hurts THE ENTIRE TEAM! Why? Because so many kids will then be playing out of their true position and that hurts all kids. I have seen this happen before and yes it did hurt the girls that were at the RM. This is also true for anytime, there are some tourneys they should never miss. If they are not that committed, that's ok, just play 18U, not 18U Gold. Playing GOLD means the player is usually striving to play at the next level.

I think we need a incoming freshman team. How do you put an incoming freshman on the preseason team, when you do not even know if they will be on varsity or not? :? So many nominations of freshman!!!! Come on now, don't you all think that is a little far fetched?
