CH/Buna winner will take on Edgewood in the Regional Semis next round. Edgewood beat Harleton 5-2 tonight.

Oh I give Buna credit for winning the series, they are the better team, but to say they still would've ten run ruled CC minus half of their team is ludicrous. Buna definitely would've still pulled out the series, but not run rule. And yes, a run rule in the playoffs is very impressive. Crockett is gonna do that to Centerville this round (I believe CKT scored twenty on them each district game this year).

I heard quite of the CC boys didn't play in the first game until the fifth inning (when the game was already over) because of disciplinary problems. Is that why game two was closer?

CH has got to field the ball better and hit better, but keep the good pitching up.

I'm gonna say Corrigan takes this series; however, I'm ignorant to what Buna has this year since I haven't seen them play. My CC pick is based on the fact that Buna was in a weak district (as I saw both the second and third place teams are gone now and they struggled winning district), but I don't really know what is going to happen. I could be completely wrong or I could be absolutely right. That's the glory of baseball. I do believe this will be a good series (a very low scoring one). Good luck to both teams. May Buna prove me wrong or CC prove me right. Whoever brings the A game will advance to take on the winner of Central Heights and New Waverly.
