  1. Fireman's Park is always in great shape and just has a feel about it. Nederland has a nice park and has updated over the past few years. I came down and played a summer of Babe Ruth down here in 2000 PNG brings back memories of two huge wins for Livingston back in 2001 so that field always has a special place in my heart. Jasper used to have a nice complex but I haven't been there in 10+ years now
  2. In 2001 Livingston beat PNG, Brenham, LCM, Angelton and lost to Cedar Park in State Semi. which was also the best run in school history In 2002 Livingston was swept by Ned
  3. Being from Livingston and now living in PN it is great seeing Livingston making a push. When I was there we were the first group to make the playoffs in over 10 years and now 10 years later they are making L-town proud. Livingston is a bunch of scrappy kids which fits Livingston to the T. I think it finishes 1. Ned T-2 LCM, PNG, Livingston. Now if this happens do they flip a coin or what?
  4. I am a new poster but not new to the site. I don't have a dog in the fights but this is what I thought about the game. I'm not sure of pitch count but I would have stayed with Stone longer as well. I was very surprised to see him get pulled. I thought he labored through what seemed like every inning. Ned hitter did a good job of working the count and getting to the pin. I haven't seen Nederland play this year but was very impressed with their pitcher and the pace which he worked. He worked ahead in the count and threw strikes. It was a good game until the 4th when the wheels came off the wagon.
