There's no doubt that Tarkington is good, but when Splendora played Tarkington. Tarkington threw their ace, and Splendora threw a young inexperienced sophmore, who had the lead going in to the 6th.(3-2) So when the Cats throw their ace(Parker) I don't see the Horns getting much going at the plate.

I say that Splendora, Tarkington, and Coldspring will be in the playoffs. But you can expect Shepherd and Liberty to be competitive, and maybe even slide in for the third slot. I would expect that Tarkington and Splendora will be making a run at the championship.

I believe that both of the catchers called the games all year last year. Not just the one that left. Does anyone know if there will be any power hitters in this district this year. If you know any I'd like to know.

I hope HJ does really well this year, cause if they don't, yall are all gonna eat a lot lf $h!*.

The kid is not left handed. He's a 6'5" RH that throws up around 94 or 95, but 90 consistently. His name is Dean and he's signed with OU. As far as there #2. I'm not sure who it is, but NC goes deeper in pitching than you would expect.

I don't think that the loss of their catcher is what is goin to hurt them, because they have a kid that caught somelast year, I've heard does just as good if not better than their last years catcher. Whats goin to hurt Splendora is the loss of their center fielder, and best hitter who hit 500 in district last year and was the defensive MVP.

What about the Parker kid from Splendora?

Yea Tarkington only lost one player, but it was there only good pitcher. I wouldn't count out Coldspring, or Splendora. They both have good solid teams from what i've heard.

Dave all you've done is talk crap about how GREAT HJ is going to be this year, but when somebody asks you why, you can't ever give a straight answer. It appears that all you know how to do is run your freakin mouth about a sport you can't even play! The reason Treece isn't AMAZING is because his fasball is low 80's at best, ans his control isn't that great, so it's not like he's gonna hit locations. And his breaking stuff isn't good enough to get people off balance, because its flat. Now you tell me smart @$$. why is he amazing.

Tarkington is a good baseball team with a great chance at winning state. Are you happy now? I hope your not from Tarkington.

WHOA easy with the easy talk. Coldspring and Splendora will be returning a lot of good ball players. Which means Liberty probably won't be winning that district.

I will agree with that PANTHERPLAYA. Liberty should be much better.

First of all, who is NC's big lefty, I didn't know they had one? And in the defense of Huffman, they beat 5A Dobie last year. Also Listi is a good pitcher, BUT BH has some big sticks coming back, and as far as i know the only teams that deserve credit in this district are BH, NC, and Huff. When I watched Crosby I wasn't that impressed.

Thats a good question. They have good returning pitching, and a good defense, plus a lot of players returning. There bats aren't top notch but should get the job done. I think this year they will put it all together and be a descent ball team. Just curious... Do you agree with me on Splendora winning this district, and the other playoff contenders?

I think you mean Football and Basketball. I think that Dean who has thrown at speeds as high as 95!!!! will be the biggest test for Huffman. Hales will be good as well. But if Huffman can get past both of the Eagles I see them winning this district.

I'm still stickin with Lewis, but Splendora Guy you make a good argument on the D-Line. And reddog White isn't ten times better than Lewis, that's impossible. But i see why yall like White he is a stud and leader for Liberty. By the way do you play for the Red Dogs? or is that just your profile.

HJ is a good hitting team, but there pitching isn't the best. They should be competitive, but winning state would require getting in the playoffs first. Which they have a chance at, but have to find some pitching or they will be watching Silsbee, BC, and Jasper from the stands. It should be a good district...one of the toughest to win.
