Injun, I believe it works like this!! This is just the way I see it and I'm not trying to take anything from the players that did make the all-district team. The coach puts his kids up, then the coaches vote and "almost" all the time, the players with the highest batting avg. gets 1st team. They don't look at fielding % or any of the other things.

Just wanted to see if you was still out there, everythings good!! Both are very good players!! Later!!

Heard that Joel Schooling might be going to Panola College. He threw in the 90's and was called in to the coaches office after that. That's all I know! Maybe someone has a update on this.

I believe Paulus is 6'4" and around 330 lbs. Not sure on the smallest.

Maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way but the third out should have been made at third on the bunt attempt that was caught and the first baseman hit the second baseman in the arm. Wouldn't that make that run unearned?

Why do we always try to put it on the coach? The coach didn't make the 4 errors that cost them 2 runs!! I saw the game and that's the way I feel about that!!

I would have to say that Silsbee will be ok on the offensive side this year. QB, running backs and recievers. The have a good start on the offensive line with Paulus at tackle and Moss at center. Paulus was first team and Moss was second team all-district players last year. I'm sure that the coaches have found players to replace the other offensive lineman that they lost last year. There's some good strong kids that played behind last years seniors. Defense will be strong at linebackers and defensive backs. Not really sure about the defensive line. Might have to turn some of those guys around from offense to defensive lineman. But one thing is for sure, they will be ready bye the time district comes around. That's just my thoughts!!
