1. Hemphill goes to Central Heights to stay at 2nd place in the district while CH is playing for district champions.
 2.
But Besides CH I wouldn't say that 22-2a would just overpower 24. Jmo
Haha. You may want to ask WoodvilleEagles#1 about that.
 3.
only play 12 district games.  What is the tie breaker if Buna a Warren tie?
Usually, it's a one game playoff between the two teams.
 4.
Other then Central Heights i think 24AA is better. Bunas always been a power house and warren anahuac and hardin have some good squads this year. But hopefully we'll meet up in the playoffs and find out whos better :)
The topic is 22-2A Vs 24-2A. That includes EVERY team. So if you include Central Heights, which district is stronger?
 5. The biggest game of the year in 22-2A will be the last one between Hemphill and Woodville!!
 6. I believe Crockett locked up district champs last night against New Waverly 5-3. Also, NW will play the 3rd seed in District 24 before locking horns with CH.
 7. Corrigan is moving up! They are fighting for that playoff spot.
 8.
No comparison in baseball. 22 got this locked down lol let's compare... Nacogdoches Central Heights vs Warren-- CH 18 Warren 1 Hemphill vs Anahuac-- Hemphill 12 Anahuac 3 Woodville vs Buna-- Woodville 9 Buna 5 Corrigan Camden vs Hardin-- CC 21 Hardin 4 Woden vs Kountze-- Woden 5 Kountze 3 Newton vs Deweyville-- Newton 4 Deweyville 2 San Augustine vs East Chambers-- SA 2 EC 14 Series goes to 22AA, 6-1 All in my assumptions and opinions of course. Comments?
I think the series would be 4-3 in favor of 22-2A. CH, Woodville, Hemphill, and Corrigan Camden are the best teams. After that tho, it falls of tremendously. I believe Newton would not beat Deweyville and Kountze would beat Woden. And sadly SA would get beat as well. But the top 4 teams in 22-2A are better than the 4 in 24-2A. Just my opinion
 9. Central Heights is going to Woodville which is an important game for both teams. Predictions and comments?
 10. Corrigan has played CH the closest this district season. Who wins?
 11.

Smesny injury was ue to poor mechanics not pitch count.
It was both.... You can throw Andy Dewey's name in there also.
I agree EAGLE07, I think we had this discussion before. I also agree with what someone said earlier, you have to take care of your pitchers arm, ice, stay in shape, etc.. but I will still say that High School kids shouldn't be throwing 100 + pitches no matter what. Also, I know their are alot of good coaches out there but don't leave it up to them to take care of your kid.
Really? So parents... Go keep a pitch count and take your child off the field when they get to 100 pitches. How about trust the coach or take your kid off the team.
Not my point, but since you wanna go down that road. I'm saying don't just leave it up to the coach or his staff to care for your son's future. Parents need to take on that responsibility as well. The coach isn't with him 24/7. It's not even my kid, I don't have a dog in the fight. So your saying trust the coach no matter what? WOW! Do you have him over every night for dinner and to tuck your kids in also? :-* :-*
I totally agree with TEL. Some coaches only care about the W and will keep a kid out there even if it reaches over 125 which I have seen happen twice this season.
 12.

Yea well that won't be happening this year
very well said lol noone in this district will beat them. CC and Woodville have competed the best though 8)
Haha. You can say that.
 13.
Should be a slugfest with these two prolific offenses taking the field! Goin with Hemphill sheerly because their offense is just on too much of a roll. That Twine kid is someone to watch out for. He's a potential 5-tool type player who should be a D-1 prospect by his Senior year.
CH has way to much talent this year.
 14.
I will admit that I haven't seen Central Heights play this season. It will come down to whomever doesn't give the other extra outs. No one is giving Hemphill much of a chance against CH (18-4?!), so that's why I picked them (call me sentimental for picking the underdog). CH may win, but it will not be a blowout. The freshmen on the Hemphill team were all on a state championship team last year (I believe) so the big stage shouldn't intimidate them.
Go watch the game. Those kids can play! Ranked #2 in the State
 15. CH (4-0) goes to Hemphill (3-0). What are the predictions for this game? It should be a good one.
 16.
They smashed the ball all night, made routine plays, and had good coaching. Woodville made several errors and didnt hit. I think CH will beat hemphill. Simply because CH has better pitching as a staff, better hitting as a full lineup, and a much better defense.
Prediction: CH 10 Hemphill 2
 17.
When Central Heights ties up with Hemphill it should be a slugfest with those two offenses! It will come down to (as it always seems to) pitching, pitching pitching, pitching, and defense. The team that doesn't beat themselves will win this game.
CH has only given up only 2 runs in district play out of 4 games.
 18.
IMHO Hemphill is the best team on these lists. I have almost all of these teams play this year. Evadale is also good. They would beat just about every 2A team in the area. That is saying a lot for a 1A team.
Ready for the CH/Hemphill match up Friday.
